"Monsieur Rene Magritte," a 1978 documentary directed by Adrian Maben featuring music by Roger Waters
Flaubert said, “Be regular and orderly in your life, so that you may be violent and original in your work,” and that was certainly Magritte’s MO:
Magritte’s way of working was the opposite of the bohemian: no flamboyance, no show… an orderly life.
I also love what Magritte says here: “I want to breathe new life into the way we look at the ordinary things around us.”
