Matt: Now they’re throwing download cards at you!

Alex: I got a pair of underpants...

Alison Mosshart schreef en zong samen met Alex het nummer 'The Fire and the Thud'. Alison Mosshart is bekend van the Kills en de 'supergroep' the Dead Weather.

Pulp is een bekende Britse band uit Sheffield. De band bestaat sinds 1978 en ging in 2001 uit elkaar. In 2011 hebben ze wel weer op een aantal festivals gespeeld. Ze zijn vooral bekend van hun hit 'Common People'.

Nick: I got searched yesterday actually.

Matt: It was your squeaky wheels, just as I’d said. I said, ‘Them wheels are gonna attract attention.’

Begin dit jaar stonden de Arctic Monkeys in het voorprogramma van the Black Keys tijdens een tour door de Verenigde Staten. 'Tighten Up' komt van het zesde studio album van the Black Keys, 'Brothers'.

Jamie: [Long pause] No.

Alex: Naked Fridays.

Matt: Lesbian Wednesdays.

We know how to not annoy each other. We’ve never really had friction, because we’ve all got a similar outlook on how not to annoy people, I suppose, so there’s never really been any problems.

In 'The View From..' geeft Matt altijd een update van waar de Arctic Monkeys mee bezig zijn. Helaas zijn we nog steeds aan het wachten op de 'Bank Holiday part II'. In deze 'View From' is Matt op bezoek bij P. Diddy.

Interviewer: Do you ever play pranks on people?

Matt: Well, maybe I should. Let me think… nothing big. What kind of pranks are you talking about?

Interviewer: I don’t know. Say, on interviewers asking musicians boring questions?

[Silence]

Matt: That was a prank. [Laughs]

'Me and Al sing the lead vocal together and we also all wrote it together too. We’re all well happy with how it turned out.' Richard Harley heeft het hier over het nummer 'You and I', wat hij samen met de Arctic Monkeys heeft opgenomen.

'All the pretty visitors came and waved their arms and cast a shadow of a snake pitt on the wall'. Zo ziet het er volgens Alex uit als je vanaf het podium de zaal in kijkt.
