"Then south it is." Elphaba looked around to get her bearings, and then started them off slowly. In fact, on this flight, there was no reason to go quickly at all. No destination, no storm to keep ahead of, just flying and enjoying the view. "What do you think?"
"I am u-u-u-u-used to being ab-b-bove things," it said, calmly looking down at the scenery as they flew. "But nevnevnevnever when it w-w-w-was moving," it said, enjoying the view, though some of the finer experiences of flight--the wind in its hair, the giddy rush of the wind--were lost on the machine.
