(Second part of the Rotmnt live summary)

There was going to be a Battle Nexus episode parodying the 2003 version, where Splinter and Big Mama would secretly meet (love is beautiful lol).

There was also going to be an episode where Mikey learns how to drive, but then the jellyfish incident happens (I have a rough idea, check out the comic of @mkthedingus ).

Some ideas for the Krang included them being trapped underwater and emerging from the Brooklyn Bridge.

There was also a Dark Leo arc where he would get lost in one of his portals.

Facts:

Leo is the older twin.

Donnie does like hugs, but only if he’s warned first (if you surprise him, he’s like “ew, gross” lol).

They wanted April to be able to defend herself from the start and fight alongside the turtles.

Canonically, they don’t have an established birthday (or at least that’s what I understood), since ninjas don’t really have one—so any day is a good day to celebrate them 🥳

Favorite ice cream:

Mikey: a mix of everything lol

Raph: Rocky Road

Leo: pistachio or some weird flavor

Donnie: makes his own custom flavor

Donatello having eyebrows was a debated design choice, but in the end they made it something he draws himself.

Originally, Big Mama wasn’t supposed to appear as early as episode 7 and would have had less screen time.

Executives wanted to remove characters like Cassandra or Todd (not the kid 😭), but they couldn’t.

The series wasn't designed to sell toys (because, as you know, since they weren't selling, Nick cut production time),but it was designed to increase the views lost with the ending and its failure (Only the latest episodes ) on TV of 2012 TMNT.

They chose a short 11-minute episode format. (To form groups of two and add up to approximately 24 to 25 minutes)

It was originally approved for three seasons, and there were also going to be 8 shorts (at least 5 minutes each) to introduce characters.

Sadly, those are archived at Nickelodeon and we probably won’t see them anytime soon.

I took on the task of summarizing everything that was said in the ROTMNT livestream :)

(I literally made a Word document (⁠´⁠ ⁠.⁠ ⁠.̫⁠ ⁠.⁠ ⁠`⁠))

The livestream lasted 18 hours (since it came out in 2018… so yeah, 18... That makes sense, right? ).

There was a cake with the cover of the book they released.

There were no plans for a future arc for Casey Jr., meaning what we saw in the movie is all we’re getting—no continuation was planned.

Draxum actually had two more capsules, making a total of 6: 4 for the main turtles, and two others that weren’t really explained—only Big Mama’s assistant and a sixth one that we know nothing about (no concept art, no plans, nothing).

The reason why Donnie doesn’t have eyebrows in the toys and Raph has his missing tooth is because they used early concept art.

They don’t know how future Donnie and Raph died, but they think Raph may have died protecting someone (😭😭😭😭).

If there were a third season, they would introduce the Earth Protection Force and Bishop. The plot would focus on cleaning up the remaining Krang across the world.

They showed some storyboards from deleted episodes and cut scenes from the movie (I’ll post those separately because I want to upload the full video :) ).

Then:

They mentioned a space arc involving Shredder’s armor and the Krang.

Andy said there was a major change in Nickelodeon’s executives. He’s not sure if it will affect anything or increase the chances of the show coming back, but the fandom made so much noise that it actually reached the executives.

It was said that the turtles would learn Spanish with Ghostbear’s help.

Donnie has a Napoleon complex lol.

Some ships they considered were Kendra x Donnie and Raph x Sunita.

(Not to get involved, but I’ve seen fanart of Donnie and Sunita and it’s BEAUTIFUL—please make it canon 😭).

It was confirmed that Donnie and Leo are twins because they were born at the same time. Disaster Twins supremacy (⁠ﾉ⁠≧⁠∇⁠≦⁠)⁠ﾉ⁠ ⁠ﾐ⁠ ⁠┻⁠━⁠┻

I loved this arc because of the references and the development given to Leo. With this, we hope that Nickelodeon will consider bringing back the canceled content.

I was going to upload more dubbing comparisons with the three languages (English, Spanish from Spain, and Latin American Spanish), but no matter how much I search for a clip in Spanish from Spain, I can't find anything, not even in places where I'm likely to get a virus on my USB.

Sooo, I was planning to upload comparisons only in Latin American Spanish and English (or I could also pay for Paramount and pull the clips myself, but I don't know how to record without the audio cutting out or not being audible).

Or I was also thinking of uploading Totmnt now that the second season is out, maybe the movie too (because I don't want to be left with nothing to do *laughs to avoid crying*)

But I'm not sure if I should upload it to the ROTTMNT community forum or if there's a specific one for TOTTMNT.
