Are you coming to me?

Or will you leave me too?

Tell me now I must know.

Don’t avoid me on this.

 Are you going to hurt me?

Will you beat and berate me?

Cut me down to little pieces

Rip apart my lonely soul.

 Will you erase my entire being?

Will I become nothing again?

I am nothing and always will be

Never meant to be, no matter.

 Who do you think you are?

What do you want with me?

I can’t figure it out anymore

I am so lost in this world.

  What have I become now?

What am I doing to myself?

I look in the mirror and cry

I am my own monster.

Disconnected

Connected is our only desire.

Attached, but not with a wire

Wireless is the way to survive

Always have to share and go live.

We’d rather look at a screen

It creates quite the boring scene.

 Young and old, all the same.

No one can blame or shame.

We are all chained to it now.

Yet they deny it all somehow.

The world is onscreen and online

We are all missing a big sign.

 A small screen captivates us.

There is nothing left to discuss.

This is what’s left of conversation.

This has become our nation.

It has reached the final end.

All we can do is hit send.

Thanksgiving

Thankful for the food

Happy to be with family

Always laughing at all

Never afraid to share

Killing the happy mood

Scared of what may come

Getting mad over nothing

Invoking his wrath today

Vocal to us, kind to them

Insisting everything is fine

Never letting them know

Good moods are just a lie.
