Random Thoughts…

I feel like we as Christians over-promote going to hell instead of talking about the new Earth that Jesus is going to restore when everything is said and done.

I feel like we speak way less on Heaven and how we are about to enter a realm with no hurt, no pain, no envy, no jealousy, no evil, no disparity, no grief, NO DEATH, no suffering, no torture, no mind control, no lying, no violence, no corruption, etc. etc. etc.

Imagine the joy, the love, the genuineness, the kindness, the generosity, etc. when we get to Heaven. Imagine how much differently the kingdom will operate when we’re under the decree of a Father that actually cares for us and isn’t doing anything for person gain. Imagine what it’ll look like and how we will actually live in harmony with each other.

Idk.. it just seems like we’re promoting fear instead of rejoicing and longing for the King’s return. I get that it is important to emphasize that we need to be ready when He gets here, and not live a life of sin, but I don’t think it should be this constant fear of not going to hell everyday, it should be a feeling of relief that the time is near and we are closer to the time of living the way God intended.
