Domestication.

The public school system in America is a human domestication system. Recess is going out to pasture. The seats condition us to 'sit, good dog'. A hall pass is a leash for a walk. School bells are our click training. Teachers are our lessons in obeying authoritative masters. Watch a kid look out a school bus like a cow looks out of crate on a truck. A degree is a branding of grade 'A' domesticated meat.

The racial classification system in America is a colonization tool used to allocate and maintain power and privileges. This does not negate ancestry nor heritage or the effect of the racial classification system (racism) but please be careful in embracing terms that were meant to oppress and control. Human

Not to long ago black people were considered in a way similar to cattle. Below human, bred to exploit livestock. That mentality is still in the atmosphere and is perpetuated by institutional racism. I'm looking at you corporate media. I'm looking at you casual racism. So we wonder why a lion named Cecil gets more empathy then black lives. It's the same reason why a lion gets more empathy over a cow. A cow is not even treated as if it is in the animal kingdom, it's an object, a commodity. That same dehumanizing stigma that was connected with black people and cows is still in the air which we see played out before our very eyes. Only now, what if you decide you don't need that "livestock" anymore? That answer is black genocide through cop. Only us waking up, reclaiming our humanity and advanced camera technology are shutting it down. Stay woke, embrace being an earthling and stay watchful.

Black movement

Desegregation did not begin that long ago. Our grandparents lived in a segregated space. Encountering all this racism, the micro-aggressions, makes total sense. Holding racist beliefs maintained segregation. They didn't vanish when segregation began. We are experiencing that friction of anti-black spaces against black movement. People don't realize we all belong in these spaces but fear blocks sacrifice and its so deep that they rather sacrifice black lives then "white space".

Ghetto

Being ghetto is not cultural or genetic. It's environmental. Just because a group of people find themselves in that environment doesn't mean it defines them. Just because a group of people are in the ghetto doesn't degrade them as people. There is traditional black culture and there is the ghetto environment, they may or may not overlap. Acting black and acting ghetto are not synonyms. A white person acting ghetto is not acting black their acting ghetto. Peasants lived in ghettos. "Slum dogs" live in ghettos. Honey boo boo acts ghetto. When Irish, Italian and german people were new immigrants to America they were considered ghetto. Blackness having a connotation with ghetto is a short sighted belief based on a relative current perspective. A sometimes manufactured perspective. Non-ghetto environments are not defaulted as white. If their raised in a suburb it's not acting white it's acting suburban. If they play lacrosse it's not acting white it's playing a traditionally/stereotypical white sport. If they don't speak with a dialect stemming from traditional black american culture it's not speaking white it's speaking a dialect of American English. Any color people can find themselves in a ghetto, any color people can find themselves out of the ghetto. It's a human experience.

It’s not for us.

The current movie/music/media industry is a white institution, period. Can we stop asking it to represent it us? Can we stop asking it for crumbs? Bashing it is futile. Trying to bring it down is futile. We have to build our own institutions. Support independent media from POC. Support their kickstarters, support their music, support their products.

Newflash: White Supremacy is real and it's a titan.

Newsflash. Supremacy is real and is being maintained. On one end corporate supremacy is the true supremacy, it hijacked white supremacy and is artificially sustaining it like a weird zombie to do its bidding. That bidding? To pit white people and POC against one another. Divide and conquer.

On the other hand white people are also maintaining white supremacy mostly through the influence of the corporatocracy/oligarchy. The biggest hurdle to brining down supremacy is the obliviousness to the plight of POC, the insulated bubble. This is not a coincidence, it is manufactured, it is intentional, it is the system. Think Eurocentric history taught in schools, think corporate news spreading divisive propaganda, think big media maintaining white standards and keeping people distracted and asleep. Another big driver is fear which is tied to corporate news/media, a fear of a ‘whole new world’ different from the one they know. Media pushes this as a dark world where someone else takes up the mantle of supremacy when in reality the majority of POC just want to stop being unfairly prosecuted and to have equal rights/opportunities.

This has been effective, I would say about 82% of white Americans maintain white supremacy.

About 1% are the hardcore supremacist/racist. Surprisingly they are actually the scapegoats, their used as examples of racism so the lesser degrees of it are ignored. They are the ones who do deserve the racist label, the ones deeply programmed to irrationally hate.

The other 81% maintain white supremacy on the spectrum of light/subtle racism to obliviousness/fear. It has less to do with ill intentions and more to do with corporate propaganda and control.

The more subtle maintainer with things like “I’m not racist….but” and “the confederate flag is my heritage.” This moves towards the “stop playing the race card,” to the more oblivious fear. The “we have a black president,” and “I’m colorblind, I don’t see race,” or “the old people will die out.”

This goes up to the lightest types. The ones who are so close, that seem to get it but still don’t get the whole picture or the fear grasp is to strong. It’s a spectrum that people can move and bounce around on but all the behaviors & attitudes maintain white supremacy.

Then we have that growing 8% to 10%, those white people who have awakened and actively work to bring down white supremacy and know that institutionalized systematic racism of all degrees has real effects.

So while around 1% of white people have nefarious intentions the majority, 81%, still actively/passively maintain it. This is why we need a different approach.

Corporatocracy is a giant, a titan, a machine. It’s 'to big to fail’.

How do we stop it? We stop feeding the giant, the hyper-capitalistic corporatocracy. The oligarchy. The 00.1%. We shrink it down to size in peaceful transition, through our wallets and at the ballot box.

We shun all big corporations, we shun all big media. This will take unification and sacrifice.

You don’t support fox news, corporate news. But do you watch fox movies? Planet of the apes, Diary of a wimpy kid, X-men? If so were supporting a corporate propaganda machine and by extension supporting white supremacy.

This is not just fox, this is all mega-corporate news. This is all mega-corporate media. This is big pharma. This is corporate agriculture, this is big fashion. This is anyone who lobbies control of our government. This is anyone who wishes to maintain the current system which is intertwined with and uses white supremacy.

So what do we do?

Eat local. Buy local. Buy used. Buy little as you can. Buy from small business when you have to. Buy within your community. Support kickstarters and indiegogo’s of POC and white allies. Buy indie media. Buy media from POC & white allies. Create your own media so we can represent ourselves. Write. Draw. Direct. Sew. Sing. Facilitate. Reduce consumption of mega corp production, research how far the tentacles reach and shun it, unplug and reconnect with the earth, the community and humanity.

Stop feeding the giant and lets start feeding ourselves. It’s time to unify.

I’m a bundle of emotions. I’m strangely nerve-wracked but don't have such a pessimistic outlook as most people. Like their literally attacking the issues head on and people are still bashing, like, it’s a process. I know that is hard to hear because oppression isn’t exactly something to chill in but it’s a systematic issue.

In the Selma to Montgomery marches in Albama 50 years ago, Rev. Akaka of Hawaii sent gifts of bright white lei from the Pacific Ocean to the Deep South to be draped on the marchers.

For the reverend, it was a symbolic gesture that affirmed Asian-American support for the civil rights movement and MLK’s support for them.
