Finally got around to finishing watching shadow and bone and in s2 e6 when the crows are dying of poison I am obsessed with the fact the everyone is having these insane hallucinations, Kaz is getting drowned, Jesper is having this moment with his mom, Tolya is seeing his sister murdered by himself, and then we have Inej who is about to get freaky with it and it’s fucking killing me 🤣

Her ass was like, “wait a second, Kaz is not this emotionally available? *GASP* It’s not real!”

anyway im hijacking this:

a kinda mitsuri-obanai vibe(in the modern version at the end of the final demon slayer manga) but Matthias and Nina(i.e. "you're making my wife uncomfortable, I will take you behind the restaurant and beat you up if you do this again"

wylan making up really weird and low-key scientific recipes that are a HIT

kaz runs the business like the navy(in terms of hiring, taxes, etc., they all run it tho)

jesper is notorious for flirting with every single customer who places an order online/at the counter, but the regulars know that if anyone flirts back, jesper will be like "whoa dude I have a husband" and wylan will come out holding a blowtorch or some other shit he's using for a recipe, and the customer will never be seen again(they stopped coming...presumably)

said regulars are Nikolai, Zoya, David, genya, Tamar, Tolya, Nadia, Alina and Mal

they all take turns serving/taking orders/cooking depending on what is needed

inej is usually the server tho. but no one ever hears her, so you'll look away for a second, and then you look back and you food will have appeared

Nina gives people who seem sad 90% off waffles. like she just leaves them at ur table

kaz is annoyed by this(cause hes losing money), but it earns them a reputation that gets them SO many customers

milo wanders around the restaurant, they blow up on social media because of him

idk if any one in this fandom has seen the "chess archetypes" but here's my thoughts:

The most overlooked piece. The strategist. They strike when least expected, often fatally.

Pawn — David

The underestimated piece. The late bloomer. In the endgame, they become a decisive winning advantage.
