D-Day! The nuptial of my cousin, Ate Joan and his over a year boyfriend, Kuya Volker. Kuya Volker is a German national so it kind of felt weird hearing myself utter the word “Kuya.” They had their civil wedding at the city hall of Carmona, Cavite and the reception was held at  View Fort (Terrace View Hill). 

I actually don’t have much idea what the couple went through in their relationship, their stories and struggles but I can’t help it. My tears were falling when they were saying their speech. From both of their parents and the newly wed. They look so good together. Language barrier is not really a big deal in these two.  Truly they are soulmates. I’m praying for their marriage and hoping that they have their kids soon!
