Miss Snow R-T-W

I recently discovered a new love in ABC's Once Upon a Time and couldn't resist a Snow White movie binge! After Mirror Mirror, Snow White and the Huntsman and even the original (on VHS, by the way) I was so inspired to be the graceful heroine for Halloween! But then I got to thinking... There are so many different portrayals of Snow White, which would I be? The damsel in distress, the nurturer, the brave warrior?

Then it struck me! What would Miss White look like as a 21st century heroine? She would be strong and self-sufficient, I decided, feminine with an edge.  She needed to float across her urban landscape, as any Disney princess would but still be grounded in the confidence of a woman who has defeated the evil queen! 

I wanted to create a collection that perfectly pushed classic inspiration into the modern world. The primary color scheme is a nod to the original, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.  Slouchy harem pants, leather and chunky weave details and a circle skirt (imagined in digitally printed neoprene) bring our fair skinned beauty into 2014. Hope you like!
