Talented and Romantic #Convo
BF: Why talented people are romantic people?
Me: Hmm. 🤔 This question is a bit difficult to answer so i’ll make it a little simple but detailed. Talented people have wide imagination. Basically, if you’re a talented person, you want to show off all your talents to the person you like a lot. Usually, people appreciate talents but many of us don’t actually see the talents only. We also see the effort. So eventually, being appreciated by the person you like gives you pleasure and inspires you to be more creative. Anyway, I don’t know why this explanation doesn’t apply to you. Yes you’re romantic but why aren’t you talented?
BF: Wow.. I didn’t realize that I asked you to insult me. I know you’re talented, you’re romantic, you’re perfect. I’m sorry if I’m not.
Me: I never said I’m perfect. I was just asking why aren’t you talented. Haha! Tell me an answer that will lock my tongue. C'mon, you can say better than this.
BF: To be honest I want to ask you the same question too. Why am I romantic but not so talented? Am I that strange? Okay.. Yes, I may not have that what you call diverse knowledge. I can’t dance, I can’t sing, I can’t draw, and I literally s*ck at so many things. There are only few things I can do well though. I can cook for you because you can’t. I can teach you how to swim because you can’t. I can handle you at your worst because no one else can. So there’s no point for me to become talented because you already are. I guess all I need is to be the person who can inspire you and be that person right next to you when all your talents are gone.
