I was at the riverwalk and I saw this skater kid with a t-shirt, had this Swahili Warrior song on it - it said, 'Life has meaning only in the struggle. Triumph or defeat is in the hands of the gods. So let us celebrate the struggle.' I think that's right, you know, when you stop fighting, you stop living. We all need that thing that's worth fighting for and I don't know, maybe it's a certain someone, a special place, maybe just an idea. Today is the day I am actually meeting Hilarie.

Like I believe there’s people who watch one tree hill and don’t see Peyton Sawyer as a person. They see her as Brooke’s friend.

Brooke is complex and Peyton is complex. Everyone has their onion layers. As far that I can see Peyton was only a bad friend to Haley when she came back from tour. And whatever it’s true.

All I’m saying is that I don’t think people who hate Peyton are actually seeing and listening to Peyton. But idk how those peoples minds works. It’s been how many years since 2005 and like I’ve said I’ve done plenty rewatches over the years and like as you grow older you get different perspective.

Was it healthy for me as a teenager to idolize Peyton the way I did? Probably not. But I felt so connected to her. And I still get her.

Like i can go on about how Brooke didn’t care about peytons feelings for Lucas, she didn’t care that she was going to put Brooke before her own feelings. Like they never talked about it! Peyton wanted the friendship with Brooke, she was willing to put aside her feelings. Brooke was 1000009% defensive and that defensive went straight nasty.

Like I get it Sophia bush is beautiful. Trust me I know.

As women and as a society, I think there’s to much against us women for us to hate each other. Maybe we should start seeing each other.

Peyton always cared about Brooke even when she was being a downright bitch. She put Brooke before herself.

After all these years, new people watch oth and find Peyton whiny…toxic … a horrible friend to Brooke.

Like..

I see myself in Peyton, I saw myself in her when I was in high school. She’s so deeply misunderstood and she feels a lot. So I just don’t understand the Brooke stans that don’t see the love and soul that Peyton has. She has real problems, real emotions. Heavy emotions. It’s extremely relatable. I wasn’t a blonde cheerleader that could draw and was a music genius but when it came to the emotions and heart, and the passion theres where our lines met each other.

Also my ~love~ for Peyton made me realize that I’m bisexual.

Currently on a rewatch the podcast me got on it. At the episode where Ellie dies and I’m already just tearing up before it happens. She’s a girl in high school, she’s young, a lot of crap has happened to her. Was she an ass to Haley? Yes she was. I see why. Does she redeem herself and they move forward from it? Yes. Brooke never acknowledged that Peyton and Lucas liked each other she was to hurt to even put the puzzle piece together. And she even just said “you can talk bad about Peyton” to Lucas when she was being very insecure about Lucas letters. Brooke wasn’t innocent. Maybe if she took Peyton seriously instead of being threatened by her relationship with Lucas.

I was always so drawn to peytons quotes. I just understood them, the people always leaving, riddle inside a bitch,the surving is all The living I can handle..Being older I see it all in a different perspective/different outlook. You can’t blame someone for how they were surving with the crappy cards life dealt them especially when they are a teenager.
