She just has a good heart that enables her to see the good in someone and not let the imperfections determine whether or not you’re good enough for her. A Boy Named Trouble

RESPECT WINS

I’m a 19 years old gay individual, and this is my first time commenting about the Manny Pacquiao’s issue.

My friends asking me what’s my take about the issue, and I just kept answering “I don’t know”, “Di ko alam. Deadma lang”, ‘cause honestly I don’t know where to find the most respectable reaction.

I’m writing this to let you know how I really feel, I wanted to respect both sides of the issue, I wanted to totally respect Manny’s idea for LGBTs. I respect that he’s against SSM but what is not heartily acceptable is him comparing us to  animals, and saying that we’re worse than them. I honestly got hurt with his statement, I wanted to understand him but I think that’s really too much, that’s below the belt. Who is he to judge us? Does he know how afflictive it was hearing that? Does he know how degrading it is to us? No one wants to be compared, specially to animals.

And seeing other people commenting and posting how shameful we are for them.

I can’t understand why is that people have so much hatred for us? Why?… 

Does their God told them to hate us?

‘Cause I know my God and I know he loves me as much as everyone else. I know that he made every single one of his creations equal. We eat the same food, we breathe the same air.

We are all vulnerable. We can be easily hurt ‘cause we all do have feelings, and sometimes we let it speak for us, and that’s when the battle happens.

We all have our own opinions, but think before you speak or click. You don’t need to like or love us, but please respect us. ‘Cause I personally respect everyone who respects me.

Respect isn’t costly but it is worthy.

And at the end of the day we are all a bunch of beautifully flawed addicts battling our drug of choice.
