Let's be realistic now. I remember you telling me "one day" when everything falls into place, you would get back together with me. When you said that, i just thought. "Why not now? If you love me, then fight for me like you said you would."
Ex, that "one day" you're talking about? I hate to break it to you, but that will never happen.
Yes, we mutually agreed to remain friends but as for me, do you really want to get back together with someone who didn't do anything and didn't fight for you in the first place? I was eager to make us work. However, if the 2nd party is not willing then what's the point in fighting? The damage has been done and there's no point in turning back.
