Saw this beauty a week ago. The two old guys standing by it were just chilling and talking to anyone who stop to say hi. The owner saw my truck and asked if he could see the inside. After I showed him, he asked if I’d start it for him to hear it. I love PureSound wires. The first snare has Twisted 20 wires, and the second snare has Super 30 wires. All of my snares except the Rogers PowerTone have PureSound wires. The Rogers PowerTone has a Gibraltar 42 strand wire. It’s extremely expensive to try different combinations of batter (top) and reso (bottom) heads. I use Evans heads. I’m thankful I’ve been able to try just about every head Evans makes to find the few combos I utilize the most. All my snares run either the Clear 300 or Clear 500 reso heads and the batters are usually the HD Dry, UV1, UV2, or Hydraulic. Enjoying a brisk morning tossing the ball for @bojacksonthedoggo in the backyard. The end of the clip is pretty much what he does on a daily basis…punching the ball over the fence. I’m going to use some leftover mesh fencing and build an attachment to sit on top of the fence in the hopes I don’t have to go find his ball each time we go outside. The other issue is the little buffalo wallow he has created from sliding before he hits the fence. He’s literally created a spot that is roughly a foot lower than the rest of the yard. I’m also wearing the beanie @rachaels.photodump made for me. Her creative abilities far greater than I could have ever hoped for as a father. Also, my ACDF recovery is going well. Another beautiful morning. Neck is doing good. Still can’t talk much, but that’s not always a bad thing. Feels like my throat is being crushed a little bit, but the doc said that would be the case for a while due to what he had to do. Pain wise I’m doing good, although my low back and right hip are hurting a lot. Most likely from not being able to do much yet.
