One time I was working at the jewelry counter at work and I was showcasing some diamond necklaces to an older lady and I was always taught to try to connect with people in order to make a sale and so we were talking about her husband blah blah blah and she goes “are you married” ………… Now the normal response to say is no, since I am not married However I didn’t comprehend what she said and I was like yeah So I quickly had to switch my ring on to my ring finger and make up a fictional spouse on the spot And to this day she comes in periodically asking about my wife Morgan (who is now pregnant with twins!) and I mean I have been stuck with this alternate fictional life for a year and a half now
