it's a shame i got into ac and its fandom so late, specifically because by the time i played ac3 i already knew and understood nearly everything about connor and haytham's characters and dynamics. i say this because i can't imagine being a 2012 assassin's creed player and finding out via your own playthrough that haytham is a templar when the big plot twist drops. so cool.
