When my roommates moved in

Moving away from my neighborhood bar

On Moving Day

When my friends arrived to help

Cramming everyone into the Uhaul

Then it was basically like this

When I walked into my new home for the first time

When they gave me my keys

This basically happened

When leaving my closing

My only direct conversation with the seller's lawyer

Upon the first patronizing comment at my closing

I wanted to be like

But I managed something more like

When I first met my lawyer

And he started talking to me about all the paperwork

On the outside I was like

In the waiting room at my closing

What I feared could happen at any moment

When I finally took things into my own hands with my seller's lawyer

Upon getting his voicemail I was like

Then a few hours later when I found out he'd taken care of the necessary paperwork (meaning closing was back on schedule) I was like

Trying to get in touch with my seller's lawyer, the only hold-up to closing

What happened when my mortgage processor, my realtor, my lawyer, and my seller's realtor attempted to get in touch with the seller's lawyer...

When I turned in the last of my paperwork

And everything seemed ready to go for closing...

Then when I found out the only hold-up was one signature from the as-yet unreachable seller's lawyer
