it’s kind of crazy how great things are for me now, a month after being at the lowest point in my life thus far. I’m already halfway towards my target weight. I’m literally up 11 pounds in the month I’ve been here thanks to a better diet and the gym. Ive been making improv, stand up, and sketch comedy writing connections absurdly fast, working a lot, you name anything and it’s probably better now than they were for me a month ago in Philly. Yet even though i have all this to be happy about and proud of, it’s only taken one person to keep me as heartbroken as I was the day it happened.

It’s certainly my fault, but it’s shown me how legit this void really is now that it’s separated from virtually everything else that was depressing me. I didn’t know the intensity would stay the same or even increase, but it’s something I’m really not used to.

I just needed to get that out. I’m doing great but these fractured relationships on top of how much I miss talking to this person have really distinguished their place in my emotions now that I’m far less stressed out all the time.
