;; ugh, i was hoping it wouldn’t come to this, but i’ve lost nearly all muse for Viktor. i don’t want to drop him, and i don’t intend to, but i am going to drop all of my threads except the ones with @haretakouri and @xhyoonbum.

i’ll probably rework viktor and his blog a bit at some point in the near future. also, for my own sanity, i’m going to start taking/looking for mains/exclusives {im me if you’re interested. i’m going to be picky as all hell though for exclusives especially} , just because i need people i can develop viktor’s character around.

i’ll keep you all posted on that.

all of this being said, if you want to plot a new thread, please im me! just because i’m dropping threads doesn’t mean i have anything against you/your chara.

“I..see…” He still didn’t really understand who he was with all the ice skating and everything, so he might have to get used to it–but did he even want to stay with this guy in the first place? He didn’t trust a lot of people.

“..I can’t walk, so..I need help either way..” He just wanted to make sure his ankles were going to heal properly so he could walk again without the use of crutches.

“I..I’m sorry. I should be thanking you for even bringing me here and helping me get out of there. I still..think I’m going to be caught though.”

✧･ﾟ: *✧･ﾟ:* ⛸ *:･ﾟ✧*:･ﾟ✧ – Viktor helped him get settled on his back and carried him inside leaving Makkachin with the driver. He hoped he was doing the right thing by offering Yoonbum a place to stay. He really didn’t know anything about the man, but, for some reason, Viktor trusted him.

And besides, Viktor was lonely. He’d been trying to find someone to stay with him for a while, but they were all crazy fans or left when they found out who he was. He hated to even think it, but really, if Yoonbum had nowhere else to go, he wouldn’t leave. It was almost exactly what Viktor wanted. Almost. He just hoped he could help the other get back on his feet.

“It’s no problem, really. I’m happy to help,” he chirped. He waved Yakov over to them when he saw the man arrive. Wincing a bit at the angry look on his coach’s face, he still got up to greet him. “Who ever did this, they won’t hurt you again. I told you, I’m going to keep you safe. I swear it.”

The coach looked Yoonbum over for a moment before leaning closer to Viktor and scolding him in hushed Russian. He certainly wasn’t happy that his champion skater had put his life on the line for some guy he didn’t know, or that Viktor was wandering around in abandoned neighborhoods in general. Still, he wasn’t about to hand the man over to the person that was hurting him. He agreed, albeit very reluctantly, to help Viktor and his new ‘friend’.

The skater leaned around Yakov to give Yoonbum a thumbs up. “Yakov’s gonna help us~ and you can stay in the hotel with me until we head back to Russia.” Meanwhile, Yakov went about getting a doctor to see the injured man.

Why would Yoonbum try and hurt this guy, though? He wasn’t strong enough, but then again he had thought of killing Sangwoo but that was because of the things he had done to him.

He let out a shaky breath and shook his head, trying to answer the question he was asked twice now.

“..no one. My uncle, but..I’d rather..not..” Not after the things he did to him and made him do. It wasn’t as bad as Sangwoo but he didn’t like it either.

“..why were you just suddenly walking out there? This town is deserted..”

✧･ﾟ: *✧･ﾟ:* ⛸ *:･ﾟ✧*:･ﾟ✧ – Viktor nodded patiently. “Don’t worry about it. I’ll make sure you have somewhere to stay. You just focus on healing, okay? We’ll be at the hospital in about a minute. I’ll stay with you the whole time if you want me to.”

He laughed a little when Yoonbum asked him why he was walking in the middle of nowhere. “Honestly, I just wanted to get away from the fans to spend some time with Makkachin. It’s exhausting keeping the ‘ice prince’ mask on all the time. I wanted some peace.”

When they arrived at the hospital, Viktor helped Yoonbum out of the limo. “Do you want me to carry you again? I don’t mind~”

“Wait.” Yoonbum backed himself up a little bit so he was closer to the door of the car, shifting his feet a little and wrapping his arms around his legs.

“Why..would you suddenly let me live with you? You don’t even know me or half of the things that happened to me. Just..because you’re helping me doesn’t mean I can trust you a hundred percent.” After all, even when Sangwoo had his good days with him and didn’t do anything bad to him, if he stepped out of line even once, the consequences would be horrendous no matter what.

✧･ﾟ: *✧･ﾟ:* ⛸ *:･ﾟ✧*:･ﾟ✧ – The skater shrugged. “Because I’m lonely...? I don’t know. I’ve got a pretty big place for just me and Makkachin. And if you did do something to me, someone would find out really quickly. If I’m even a minute late to practice Yakov is ready to call in the cavalry.” He backed up a little as well to give the other more space. “If you want to tell me more about yourself, you’re welcome to. At this point, though, I’m not afraid of you, haha. I’m a good deal stronger than I look. I’m not going to hurt you, Yoonbum, I swear. I know you don’t trust me yet, I don’t blame you, but I won’t hurt you.”

He thought for a moment about how to show the other that he was telling the truth. He supposed only time would tell. “I take it you don’t have someone to stay with here then?"

“They won’t bleed.” He lifted the skirt down a little bit to make sure the rest of himself was covered and looked away, remembering the time Sangwoo hit them with the hammer.

“..Sangwoo..he hit my ankles with a sledgehammer so I wouldn’t be able to leave the house or move much. I don’t know if the bones are broken but..it still definitely hurts. It’s been like that for a while now..” He didn’t even know what day of the week it was or what day of the month, or how long he had stayed there.

✧･ﾟ: *✧･ﾟ:* ⛸ *:･ﾟ✧*:･ﾟ✧ – Flinching lightly at the thought of having his ankles smashed with a sledgehammer, Viktor shook his head. “Damn, that’s just messed up. Why don’t we get you to a hospital? I don’t want to make things worse.”

If it had been a sprain, which he figured was likely since the other had bandages and not a cast, he could have helped, but this seemed a bit out of his league. He told the driver to take them to the nearest hospital and sent a text to Yakov to meet them there.

“I told my coach to meet us at the hospital. He’s a good man. He’ll help us figure out what to do. Do you have somewhere safe to stay with someone who can take care of you? If not, don’t worry about it. You can stay with me while I’m here and if it comes to that, you can come live in my apartment in Russia.”

“I’m…I don’t know a lot about ice skating. I’m sorry..” But if the guy was telling the truth, then he was just picked up by someone famous. It really didn’t matter though, just so long as he had gotten out of there.

What bothered him more was that he knew a part of him still loved Sangwoo and would yearn for him over time, despite not wanting to be anywhere near him. It was a terrible inner conflict.

“…be careful. They still hurt even if they’re not as bad as they originally were.” And besides, he needed way more than just a hospital. He needed a therapist. Anyone like that to help him get over this state he was in.

✧･ﾟ: *✧･ﾟ:* ⛸ *:･ﾟ✧*:･ﾟ✧ – Viktor chuckled, “You’ll know more than you ever wanted to know about ice skating soon, I promise.”

Gently tugging the skirt away from the man’s legs, he examined the bandages. They looked a bit dirty for his liking, but he wasn’t sure if the wounds were infected. “Before I go further, can I ask what happened? To your legs I mean. I don’t want to take the bandages off if they’ll start bleeding.”

Yoonbum’s eyes closed all the while they ran to the car, keeping his hands tightened around Viktor’s neck until he was finally put down, feeling the cushion of the limo almost as cool as the basement floor under him.

He tried to shift his legs a bit, wincing from moving them considering how he was sitting a little cramped right now on the seat itself, but there was enough space on the floor at least or in the limo in general.

He tensed and let out a nervous sound when the hand was extended, often nervous of being touched or having something like that close to him since Sangwoo used to punch and smack him with his fists, so he opted for just staring at the man with a hand curled by his chest.

“..Y..Yoonbum…” Now that he got a better look at him, this man was awfully good looking..

✧･ﾟ: *✧･ﾟ:* ⛸ *:･ﾟ✧*:･ﾟ✧ – Viktor pulled his hand back slowly, not wanting to make any sudden movements. “It’s nice to meet you. I didn’t mean to startle you. I know it can be scary sometimes, especially when someone’s hurt you. Don’t be afraid to tell me if something upsets you, kay? I want to help you, and that includes helping you feel safe. Whoever hurt you, you don’t have to worry about them anymore. I’ll make sure you’re safe. I won’t leave you alone, I promise. I don’t know how much you know about skating, but I’m pretty famous haha. The spotlight is a bit uncomfortable, but at least it’s safe, right?”

He shifted a bit and gestured towards the other’s legs. “Is it okay if I touch your legs, Yoonbum? I’ll be super gentle, I just want to see if we need to get you to a hospital.”

But what if the car didn’t come in time by the end of the cop’s investigation and Sangwoo came out? He’d kill all three of them..

“..he’s going to kill me. He’ll catch me..” Eyes widened in panic and he pressed his hands against the sides of his head trying to think of something positive, but nothing came since he was in that house hold.

Would he figure out where he went???

“He’ll find me..I know it..” His breathing picked up thinking about what would happen if he was caught at the end of this mess. He only snapped out of it all when a familiar gesture was presented to him.

But it wasn’t Sangwoo this time, and he quickly wrapped his hands around Viktor’s neck and pressed his face there, tensing a little from the fear stilled in him.

✧･ﾟ: *✧･ﾟ:* ⛸ *:･ﾟ✧*:･ﾟ✧ – The skater wrapped his arms behind the other’s legs and lifted him up. He nearly sprinted to the main road, Makkachin running along beside him, sniffing for any signs of trouble.

Viktor’s legs were like jelly from the excitement and relief when he saw the limousine parked outside a coffee shop. “We made it,” he said, breathlessly, walking to the car a bit more slowly, trying to catch his breath. “You’re safe now. I’ll keep you safe, don’t worry,” he said calmly as he helped the other onto the seat. “Put your legs up, I’ll take a look at them. I’m no doctor, but I’ve seen, and had, pretty many leg injuries. Skating is more dangerous than it looks,” he joked lightly. Makkachin curled up on the seat next to Viktor and examined the strange man they’d saved.

Now that the tension was over, Viktor realized he never learned the other’s name. “Ah, sorry. I don’t know your name. I’m Viktor, Viktor Nikiforov.” He held out a hand for the other to shake.

“You..there might not be any time to call the cops, and besides..” There was one already inside the house there and he couldn’t take a risk of trying to call him out without Sangwoo hitting the guy behind the head.

“I can’t walk. My ankles..” He looked downward at them since they were swollen still but he could barely manage to crawl enough as it was.

“Just please get me out of here. I can’t…go back into that house!”

✧･ﾟ: *✧･ﾟ:* ⛸ *:･ﾟ✧*:･ﾟ✧ – “Shh, calm down, I’m going to call a car to meet us.” He held his phone between his ear and shoulder, calling the chauffeur he’d been hired for the duration of his competition and telling him to pick them up at the main road.

Viktor knelt before the other. “Here, hold onto my neck, okay? You’re alright, I’m gonna get you out of here.” Even Makkachin seemed to steel himself. Viktor wasn’t sure what was going on, but he was rather terrified, though he tried not to show it for the other man’s sake. He would get them both out of this. He had to.

When the man talked about not being able to walk for a while Yoonbum had to hold back the eye roll. both of his legs were broken by a crazy killer and after months he was just now going to see a doctor to make sure the bone will heal properly

“U…Um…….” Yoonbum wasn't sure what to say, he hasn't had conversations with anyone but Sangwoo, if he were being honest, he never had many conversations with anyone but Sangwoo

You might have heard of me? I dunno how popular ice skating is here- haha -but I just won gold a few days ago. And now my feet are dead my gosh, I need a day off,” the young man twittered. “Can I ask your name?”
