This is kind of a silly question but - would anyone be interested in a mail club? Like, I would send out age reg themed mail whenever I can. It would include a letter, maybe some stickers, playlists, coloring pages, etc. And you're welcome to send mail back!! But you don't have to. I'd mostly do it out of pocket but if anyone would want to donate, that's cool too.
Like, no this character isn't using a pacifier or gripping onto a plushie or padded or wearing childing clothing, but they are hiding behind their most trusted person in the friend group, either a parental figure or close friend, when things feel too big and new.
They aren't crying out for mommy or daddy, or throwing a tantrum, but they're sobbing to themselves in the middle of the night, clutching their pillow like a person, because everything feels too big and too much
They aren't burying themselves in pacifiers, teethers, or plushies, but they're chewing on their shirt or hand when they get anxious and hugging their pillow to their chest like a lifeline

A/N: *taps mic* is this thing on? Guys I might be a teeny bit back HOPEFULLY, I'm making steps to get regression back so I'm hoping that'll make me be able to write some requests. Ok this is my first Sherlock fic! Which is crazy cus im like....the biggest, gayest nerd ever. Ok I wrote this entirely with Sherlock and Co. In mind but you can interpret it how you want! It's not explicitly stated that Sherlock's regressing but trust he is. Hope you enjoy!! (Lmk if you want these on the character list! Although I might not do x reader with them, havent decided yet)

After a few months of living with him, John finally got used of Sherlock's... night noises. Whether it be the (sometimes) melodious screeching of his violin, incessant mutterings about a case or, on the odd occasion, straight up screaming. Out of sheer necessity, John had become a deep sleeper.
Which is why he didn't hear Sherlock's feet softly padding down the hallway and is also why Sherlock was surprised when his best friend woke up with a start when his door creaked open.
The creak roused John from his sleep, eyes darting around the room before landing on the tall figure that was Sherlock, standing beside his bed with a look of slight distress plastered across his face. "Bloody hell- Sherlock? What's wrong? Has- is it a case or something?" He asks, concerned.
Sherlock simply shrugs, fiddling with the belt of his soft black robe. "You ok mate?"John asks, rubbing his eyes and pushing himself up in the bed, flipping on the light. He studies his best friends anxious face. In the proper light, he sees the tracks of tears on his face and his puffy, red eyes.
Instantly, John balks.
"You're worrying me a bit here Sherlock."
He sighs when he sees Sherlock nibbling at his lip, a habit John has been trying to get him to kick for months. A habit he tends to do only when he's... "Sherlock are you non verbal right now?"
This earns him a stiff jerk of the head, which John opts to take as a yes, letting out a deep sigh of relief.
"Alright. Ok. So. I'm going to ask you a few yes or no questions and I want you to nod or shake your head in response. That sound alright to you buddy?"
Sherlock thinks for a second before giving a nod.
"Alright, good. So. Are you high tight now? No judgement- I just need to know." John asks, trying to keep his voice neutral and kind.
Sherlock shakes his head quickly, desperate to prove that he is, in fact, sober right now.
"Alright, alright buddy I believe you 's alright" John soothes. "You in any physical pain?"
Sherlock shakes his head again, calmer this time. "That's good. Last question now. Is this an autism thing?"
Sherlock gives a small, nervous shrug.
"Ok mate. You just having a bit of a wobble?" John asks, feeling more under control now.
Sherlock looks up at John sheepishly, eyes big and impossibly brown.
"That's alright Sherlock. You need some pressure? Maybe a cuddle?" John tries, knowing it's a risky suggestion. But, to his surprise, Sherlock scrambles up onto the bed, and before John knows it, he has a curly haired detective snuggled up underneath his covers.
John chuckles lowly, pulling his arm around Sherlock and squeezing him gently, giving him some much needed pressure, earning him a squeak and a sigh of deep relaxation from his bedmate. He watches as Sherlock's eyes slowly shut, his thumb making it's way into his mouth.
If it was anyone else, John may have found this a bit strange. Not for Sherlock though. If the man wanted to suck his thumb as he slept, he had evey right to do it, he's a master detective, he has to relax somehow. Besides he looks admittedly cute all tuckered out like this.
"Goodnight poppet" John doesn't even realise the words have slipped out of his mouth until they're hanging in the silence of the bedroom. Sherlock doesn't respond audibly but John swears he sees the corners of his lips turn up into a grin, as he cuddles in a little tighter.

Likes to try and break down complex concepts for you when you're small, explaining them in childlike terms and trying his best to help you understand.
If you can't fully grasp the theory of relativity though, he completely understands and is happy to just play peek-a-boo instead
Very very silly, loves to do funny faces and voices for you
Can become obessed with jokes to the point where they carry over and become inside jokes between the two of you
Overall is just mister silly, loves playing games and doing funny voices

As expected, he’s mister rules. You bet you’ve got a routine set down pat.
But he does this because it’s his way of showing that he cares and wants to keep you safe and healthy and happy
Very emotional too, cries the first time you call him any sort of nickname
Loves singing for you while he holds you close to him

Number one activity between you two is meditation, he thinks being able to sit down and focus on something is a good skill to build up
That being said, meditation takes many forms- forms that look an awful lot like cuddling and taking a nap

Very easygoing, but don’t mistake him for a pushover! He still has rules that he sticks to.
Never gets upset when you’re hyper, viewing the moment as a practice in patience for him and appreciates the time that he gets to spend with you regardless
