          “ ----eeh?”    Sleep was required on a long trip like this and it WASN’T his fault that they were literally the last to be squeezed on this bus in the back with one of the people who likely COULDN’T stand him in more ways than one for various reasons. On the other hand he felt it was better to TRY as hard as he could to remain on the positive side of most of his competitors but at the SAME time rely on himself to be better than anyone who was out on the ice. JUST as long as that very moment belonged to him and him alone. Now it was just trying to get to one place to another on very little sleep prior to. With eyes prodding themselves open once feeling a SHARP squeeze to his face and glancing directly toward the blond in quick confusion. Trying to understand what it was he had done WRONG this time except for existing. PULLING himself away from a tough grasp and rubbing side of his face as the result he narrowed his eyes while expression changed. 

                    “ Huh -- oh, sorry. I didn’t sleep before now.”       THING was why the heck was he paired to sick next to Yurio?  Viktor was likely already there at the hotel while he tried to find the QUICKEST way there possible ( -- as well as the cheapest ) but why did he feel as though he was all part of the plan. Like this was SOME kind of joke and it was only to test their nerves. ANYONE else would of been fine to sit next to but it was still awkward and full of nonessential nerves. Looking away, he pressed his palm to the chin and began to doze back off in almost an instant but with a simple turn elbow fell off knee and invaded the other’s personal space AGAIN. (  THIS was going to be one of the longest bus rides in the world. )   / @tigcrborn ( x )

"Yuuuuuuuri ~ why won't you love me"

          “ -- but I do.”  He’d say, pulling the other close to fix the new scarf he had bought him not too long ago. It was cold, they really SHOULD be getting somewhere warm but he wanted to look around Viktor’s home town more. Russia was such a bizarre experience so far and he wondered if there was anywhere to go during the night hours. SOME of the places  steeped in cultural tradition and has plenty to offer in terms of music and dance, from world renowned theaters to atmospheric jazz halls. QUESTION was, where is he wanted go first? ( --or if he wanted to go anywhere. ) Hand reached to take Viktors within his own, twining their fingers to their palms touched. The man on the tv had mentioned something in English in one of the most heaviest accents ‘ Experience the cultural capital of Russia at its true potential.’ but had he the energy? Not really -- it was late and the comfort of the other leaning against him was enough to make his eyelids heavy. Though not EXHAUSTED enough to enjoy the sights, over all.

    the  amount  of      relief  the  man  feels  in  this  instance  is  almost  overwhelming.  when  yuuri  had  told  him  he  would  be  walking  to  the  rink  to  practice,  it  never  occurred  to  him  the  possible  outcomes  that  could  come  with  him  going  alone.  only  when  the  hours  ticked  by  did  a  sense  of  dread  wash  over  him,  the  fear  of  his  yuuri  walking  lost    &    alone  in  a  foreign  city,  unknowing  who  to  speak  to  nor  how  to  get  home.  his  grip  tightens  on  the  slighter  man,  holding  him  almost  crushingly   tight   against  the  plains  of  his  chest  until  the  other  takes  his  hand  to  lace  their  fingers  together  reassuringly.  a  soft  sigh  leaves  the  athlete’s  lips,  tilting  a  head  of   silver   tresses  down  to  rest  their  foreheads  together,  eyes  flutter  closed  in  this  moment,  purely  content  indulge  in  the  fact  that  his  love  was  here  and  safe  in  his  arms.      ❝   you  had  me  worried.   ❞

           “  ---- I am sorry.”   The apology was soft while hands found themselves holding onto the other softly, he pulled himself closer if he could. Eyes closed for nearly a moment before sighing again through the nose and glancing down toward their hands.   “  I am here now, next time I’ll be  SURE to take you along with me. I don’t know how to ask for a certain street. ( --- let along pronounce it. ) but luckily I found the place. Pictures are WORTH  more than words.  ---- I want you to watch me and see the new ideas I have. ”     The GPS device on his phone was a huge help today,  it was also thanks to Viktor that he had given the name of the rink yesterday evening.  Standing straight, he’d look directly into the other’s eyes at some distance now, though hands never let him go.     “ I know I MIGHT be worrying too much but that’s all I can think about.”    They were SUPPOSE to be on a small bit of a vacation but even he was having nightmares of messing up and letting the other down. The LAST thing he ever wanted was to disappoint him, make him frown --- but of course, even without trying he caused worry.

    the  elder  is  quick      to  pull  the  other  into  his  arms,  yuuri’s  slighter  frame  pulled  tight  against  his  own  frame  as  head  ducks  to  bury  into  the  soft  curve  of  his  lover’s  neck.  breath  leaves  him  in  a  relieved  sigh,  fingers  curling  into  the  soft  fabric  of  the  other’s  sweater,  allowing  himself  to  hold  him  like  this  a  little  while  longer.  it  is  silly  to  worry,  he  trusts  yuuri  after  all,  and  yet  this  is  still  an  unfamiliar  place  for  him  to  wander  around  by  himself.  finally  he  finds  the  strength  to  pull  away,  though  pale  eyes  are  quick  to  examine  appearances  in  case  the  worst  had  happened.

❝  are  you  alright?  are  you  hurt?  did  you  get  lost?  i  should  have  never  let  you  go  alone,  st.  petersburg  is  still  so  new  to  you.   ❞ 

          The walk to the near by rink was a BIT of ways from where they had been staying but considering he finally made it back HOME within the other’s embrace, and to suddenly see the worry expression and gestures from Viktor ---- smiling as a result once there eyes met. A hand settled against the other’s wrist, to gently guide fingers downward and wrap tenderly around cool digits.    “ --- I am alright, it wasn’t too bad and the people are really nice here -----  they kept stopping me on my way back asking if I knew where you were.”    It was APPARENT that he was acknowledged by those who ever keep there eyes off the public media and who continuously watch celebrity television.  NOT that it was a such a big deal rather or not that was going to happen often but it would be better if he wouldn’t draw so much attention to himself. While standing there in front of him, Yuuri felt himself growing a little clingy --- REASSURING himself that he was, infact, within the other’s grasp. Every since they had gotten there he felt nothing but WANT and it made his face flush pink.

                  “ — I am so sorry for being so late — I got a little —- CAUGHT up in something.”            THAT  something was practicing as it always has been, but of course things were usually done before hand but he felt like maybe more practice meant a good performance during the nationals which would likely come sooner than LATER. He was kind of anxious and thinking the worst of himself but never will he say that out loud toward his coach. ( – not if he wanted to win, NOT if he wanted to be the best he could be in the other’s eyes. ) Talking little about himself would likely make it come true and that was something that most definitely didn’t need to occur.

J J.

     In a way, JJ had picked himself up from the horrible defeat. Not only has JJ won bronze in a GPF TWICE, but he has a whole career to look forward to ahead of him. Sure it was a horrible fall that took a lot out of him, but he had his parents, fiancee, as well as the people of Canada to help him get back on his feet. Although the anxiety was still there and it sucked to think about the flop he suffered.. he knows that he will only fall further down the rabbit hole if he thinks on it any longer. JJ has had to step forward, and get out of that shell. No matter how hard it was! Thankfully, he had Isabella to fall back on. Yuuri could understand, and that’s why he was so open to Yuuri when he came around. Plus… JJ has grown from his fall. His confidence was there, but it wasn’t as… big? He was still the King! But he definitely would be more open than he generally was with people. He would still ask for cheering and cheer the other on, but he wouldn’t be so.. talk in third person-y as he generally does.

Yuuri didn’t need to be a fan. It was just nice to have competition [and friends] who were fans of your work. You know? Grinning to the other as he nods, JJ raises a hand. Offering a salut to the other as he breathes out. That’s fine! He needed to practice after all. “Fine by me. Feel free to join in if you want to skate with me. Won’t deny you some time to shine among my fans!” Turning to face Yuuri, JJ winks to the older male. Stretching out his arms as he focuses on him. “If you are going to be doing a routine during practice at all, I am sure they will want to see! If you need aone opinions, then let us know!” JJ states. Reaching forward and patting the other on the shoulder.

      Despite the lack and little communication between them --- he had to admit that the encouragement JJ gave his fans as well as himself was something else. It was nice to know that people could fall low and then crawl their way out of that hole. Of course, it was IMPOSSIBLE to do that alone and he knew that more than anyone. For some, it took time and for other’s it remained the same for quite some time as long as they were surrounded by encouraging words and beings and the ‘King’ had such.

        While, the push of his coach caused him to do well out on the ice --- the fact that HIS love meant absolutely everything whenever he did skate. Although he wasn’t here at the moment, the pride alone carried with him no mater how far apart they were. In this situation, the Russian was off walking Makkachin and getting something for dinner the following night. As he had this anxious feeling in the pit of his stomach -- it had slightly began to vanish due to the extra company he was not expecting when walking into the rink. Perhaps he wasn’t being too fair before and rarely thought of giving JJ or any of the other skaters a chance in the mater to befriend them. As most considered each other to be nothing more than rivals ( -- and while that was true, it didn’t hurt to develop various other relationships as well -- friendship being the main key. )   

    Once out on the ice, going over toward the wall that separated he and JJ there was a small smile before ah and lifted to adjust the frames upon his nose.      ❛❛  I have an idea, if you’re up for it. ❜❜

     though internally     pouting, the russian chuckles fondly. they  REMAIN  close however for a moment, noses barely brushing against one another’s, warm breath upon their cheeks. Viktor only pulls away once he feels Yuuri’s fingers  CURL  around his own.      ❛❛ then we will just have to find some place without cameras, da? ❜❜

               ❛❛ Mmmm --- but --- where? There are a lot of camera’s all over the place. ❜❜ Considering his score, he assumed that Viktor was incredibly proud of him. It was a wonderful score and not a fault in his landings. Perhaps a bit in the step sequence of his program, but NOTHING enough to effect him on his scoring too much that it would bring him down. In fact, he wasn’t too worried about other’s competing beside him.  The crowd currently focused on the skater now preforming and he had little to know what it was he should be prepared for next. Feeling the soreness enduring the lower back beyond his shoulder blades.  Standing there rolling his neck and trying to hide the fact that the blush was slowly germinating across his cheeks.  ( -- hoping none of the cameras nor his coach could see this fault. )

VIKTOR.

     it wasn’t all     too surprising that this would be the time for sickness to fell his young student. it was nearing the end of the season,  COUNTLESS  of hours, weeks, months of pushing himself and perfecting his art had done him wonders for him throughout the majority of the competition, but as it drew to a close stress was at it’s  PEAK  and body was weak from the long season. Viktor had just hoped that Yuuri could  FEND  off the possibility of illness for one more week, for after the final program. no matter, this just meant that he would have to work extra hard as a coach and as a fiance to get his Yuuri better.

a soft smile touches the russian’s lips, even when  DAZED  and unwell his lover seemed to look adorable.       ❛❛ i will get you medicine, solnyshko. don’t you worry. ❜❜      fingers  LOVINGLY  brush the dark, and damp locks out of the skater’s face, leaning down to press a tender kiss to the center of the male’s crown before he would pull the thick covers up to his chin. 

       ❛❛  I feel bad --- I don’t mean to be sick like this. I’m sorry Viktor. ❜❜  The need to apologize wasn’t necessary but it was just out of a simple habit considering he hadn’t really known what else to say in a situation like this one. Of course, knowing it wasn’t his fault that his body was backing down on his plans. Not wanting to over push himself and likely couldn’t withhold the unwanted balance of getting up early when it’s cold and leaving when it’s warmer. The weather was playing a lot into it considering the dramatic effect of it changing lately. That and the lack of sleep he had been getting between days of continuous practice ( -- and though Viktor had told him to rest up, vaguely did he listen and went on doing more things as a result to his routine or spend most of the night video chatting with other’s in different time zones. ) There was even one night that Makkachin was over crowding his bed so he stayed up all night reading a novel about how to better jumps. Moving the dog from where he slept just seemed rude.

       Turning on his side, eyes glanced toward the other for a moment before weakly smiling before sighing and hiding half his face into the pillow.  ❛❛  I will hopefully feel better by tomorrow? Probably not. My mom said it took me forever to get past a common cold during high school. I spent a good week bed ridden  ---- probably shouldn’t be the thinking the worst. ❜❜

       ❛❛ ---- Not with all these cameras. !!! ❜❜ The tone of his voice cracked while he explained himself, hand lightly reached toward the others --- fingers locked together.

                    The dog was ADORABLE ! How in the world did Yurio NOT think the same? Did he have a heart?      ❛❛  how can you not think that he’s adorable ? I want another dog but I don’t have the time. This was a mistake, walking in here. ❜❜ What in the world were they doing at PetSmart anyway?

     “ Such a blunt and straightforward answer! ”

It was almost too sweet for her to handle. Could this innocent man really be the same one who skated with all that eros before? Mila raised slender digits to cover the growing blush on her pale cheeks. She knew well enough that his skating grew because he had found love with Viktor. She knew well enough that he could and would never hurt Viktor. This love was far too much for her to possibly handle on her own.

     “ You must remain the same, malen'kiy porosenok. Your innocence is a good change of pace and do not worry. I trust you. I know you won’t hurt Viktor, I could easily tell from how you watched him before. ”

A sly smirk soon formed on her lips as she brought her hands down from her face and grabbed a hold of his. Innocence was always something she enjoyed to poke at, especially when it was someone close to her.

     “ You are far too cute Yuuri! ”

     ❛❛  Th---anks❜❜  When her hands pulled on his cheeks he flinched because they were cold. Though, that made total sense because they were surrounded by ice and cold temperature. This was a rink after all and these places were usually quite cold. Though, what he DID NOT expect was her reaction and how much appreciation there was and the nicknames that he hardly understood. ( only assuming they were good. ) never minding them nor questioning their translation.     ❛❛  Thank you for trusting me. I don’t really know how in the world I could ever hurt him ❜❜ Too embarrassed to admit how much he cares for him, how he only knows the love that Viktor had -- ONLY him. 

           INNOCENT?  he hadn’t really thought much on that --- if anything he was just honest but he didn’t know about innocent. Sometimes he really wished that people didn’t see him in such a spotlight but he had hoped when he did his skating performances that all that was pushed under some old rug. Even though that was most definitely not something they were currently talking about nor worried about -- it still was a lingering thought.  ❛❛  --- you noticed that? ❜❜ Katsuki asked, he didn’t realize someone recognized the look he gave before whenever watching him.
