perhaps that is why she’s cruel enough to revert to the warrior’s tongue, a harsh reminder to the girl beside of who she has grown up surrounded by, and the disappointments they harbor which have only increased with the passing of winters, that will change what is seen in the depths of her stare.

Nykita had spent many a sleepless night wandering the outskirts of Azgeda territory, wondering what it might be like to leave-- to be free. She had spent nights SHAKING in her bed, nightmares haunted by the restless souls that she had not saved. She and insomnia are not STRANGERS by any means, but any empathy she might feel towards the woman is masked in her chilled gaze. hidden by sharp features that refuse any show of forgiveness.

                                                 ‘ my apologies, your highness, ’ tone remains serious, her gaze unwavering. she moves to the side of the room where she places the bag at her hip upon a small table, a hand deftly slipping inside and fishing out a small vile of white liquid. keen eyes examine it for several moments, assuring that it is, in fact, the correct one and then she is offering it to the monarch.
