I just finished watching Miss Americana by @taylorswift  and I got to say how much it affected my vision of life immediately.. I am not a big fan of Taylor Swift but I always supported her and this made me love her more.. I am just a 16-year old girl from Turkey who is trying her best to make her dreams come true about singing and wants it so badly that, is willing to take everything to do that. And I have to say this documentary really encouraged me..
I used to have so much self despair and I really believed what people in my country told me about the reality and how much a dreamer I am.. If you're living in Turkey you should know that wanting to sing besides Turkish folk or pop music and being succesful on that is extremely hard. People in your country do not support you, they mostly do not listen that kind of music and you can't really find a position after you graduate.. Not even mentioning how much it is hard to even be accepted from a conservatory. In my city, which has almost 5 million population, there is only one conservatory for Opera training (which is the only option if you want to do music besides folk music) and they only take 5 out of 80 people just to finish 5 years of Opera training and be unemployed afterwards.. I have to work really hard to be one of the 5 and to be successfully graduated after 5 years of education.. And when I reach 23, I can finally start to work hard for my dreams.. That's why people call me a dreamer and make me think like I have an impossible goal.. But after I watched Taylor's documentary, I felt maybe I have a chance and I should never lose hope.. I can be nothing afterwards but at least I can say that I tried my best.. Because I know how much I love doing that and how much I deserve that.. Thank you for making me believe a little more @taylorswift  💗 I completely felt like I was looking at myself when I saw you with your mom sitting in the car at the age of 13..Â
PLEASE REBLOG THIS TAYLOR NEEDS TO SEE🥺💞🇹🇷
