I'm so sorry about your cats! There's no right or wrong way to grieve, and there's no time limit. Do what you've gotta do to feel right. Sending you love and comfort 💙

thank you<3 they were both old so i knew i only had so much time left with them but their actual passings came so fast and sudden i still can't really wrap my head around it.

#my one cat went from healthy to gone in just a few weeks and just a day before my other passed our vet had said he was doing so much better #he had health issues for years but our vet never once thought he was on his way out #it's just so unreal #delete later #<i'm screenshotting this to keep forever because it does mean alot to me #but i'm also being more vulnerable than i'll probably appreciate when i'm feeling more steady #but again #thank you.

so. part of the reason i haven't posted in so long is because i've been taking care of my sick cats but both of them passed very recently and i'm just kind of. lost. i guess. i know i'm grieving and shouldn't make any rash decisions but. i feel like giving up everything deleting it all and just never coming back. i don't know. i'll probably look at this post in a month and just lol cringe and delete it or whatever i don't know i don't even know why i'm making this post idk

#i wanted to draw something since this is the five year anniversary but that didn't end up working out so i'm back just to reblog this #also since i'm here anyways i'll give a little update for anyone who cares #i'm still going through it but i'm slowly getting together a plan for how i can come back to social media in a way that won't negatively #impact my mental health further #which i think will look something like not giving myself any kind of posting schedule and doing less digital art more traditional art #so when i have something to post i'll come back but i'm not gonna push myself to finish something just so i can post it #if i don't have anything by december i might come back just to play that spotify wrapped doodle game we did last year #if i'm in the right headspace of course #anyways.#thanks to everyone who has been so kind and patient❤️ i appreciate y'all sm #queueing this for morning now gbye

update, on hiatus✌️

long story short i've been having a rough year (hence the total of 4 illustrations this year vs the 10ish illustrations in 4 months last year) and with my cat being sick again i've decided to take a few months to not even think about social media and posting and just take care of my cat and get my shit together.
