Shot in the dark, does anyone have a link to the murderbot fic where it gets abandoned on a ship with no hope of rescue so it keeps trying to shut itself down. BUT it doesn't realize that ART had saved it so when it keeps coming back online its just like why aren't I dead yet.
Iâm in this photo and I donât like it đđ
*taps mic* is this thing on?
Anyways Adrian Chase is an Alpha and Peacemaker is an Omega. I dont make the rules but I know this to be true.
happy whumptober
I can't personally stomach the extreme ends of whump anymore, but I'm glad that they existed and continue to exist Examining why I became sad at certain fanfics helped me get around dissociating the second I tried to think of trauma thanks to all the fanfic writers out there
Writing fic was a time in my life where things actually sucked really bad but writing made me happy till it didn't.
At the core of it creating content is for yourself and I wrote characters I Identified with put in positions where their hurt wasn't their fault or their internalized feelings of inadequacy could potentially be acknowledged and they all lived happily ever after.
If only real life could be as simple as an injury bringing deep seated trauma to light and a hug cures it all.
I don't have a real reason I'm writing this or have plans to publish anything if I write again soon. But I wanted to get it off my chest.
I miss writing but I hate introspection.

Rereading one of my first fics and I'm cringing so hard. Who was I...
All my motivation for doing any writing challenge has just flown out the window :(
I'm Osomatsu right now. Here's a snippet.
~~~~~
Brothers, I ask nay I implore you to don your finest garments. Aphrodite has returned and would like you to join her in the breaking of fast.(but dinner)."
âUgh. This again, Sorry, We've all got plans Exclusive-matsu.â
Jyushimatsu takes his eyes off of the magazine he's reading to look at his brother. Heâs surprised to see the disappointment in his face. Maybe he isn't pranking them?
Karamatsu continues despite the hurt on his face. "She really would like to meet you guys. Is there any way you can reschedule?"
The shift in his speech is enough to have them squint at him. âYou're not pulling our legs?
"No! Mizuki works as a food journalist she was in Osaka for the past month. Bit she swears by this restaurant he said that this restaurant is really good!"
âOh she has a name wow.â Ichimatsu sniffs.
âBrothers please! I wouldnât joke about this.â Karamatsu sounds desperate enough to make each of them sit up.
A collective groan goes up. We'll try to be there, Karamatsu" Osomatsu says, dismissing him with a wave of his hand.
Only Jyushimatsu sees the way he lights up "Ok meet us at Kyodai at 5, don't be late!"
One day I'll finish my bad news bingo. Then I won't feel guilty about starting new fics.
being a writer is just like *idea* *imposter syndrome* *fear of people reading your work* *fear of people Not reading your work* *a single aesthetic* *idea*
//Absurdly helpful for people writing royal characters and/or characters who interact with royalty and members of the nobility.
Citizen is simpler and more beautiful~ but just in case anyone needs this.
DUDE BUT THIS IS WHAT IâVE BEEN TRYING TO TELL PEOPLE
in medieval times you ONLY addressed a king/queen with âYour Majestyâ, NEVER âYour Highnessâ. Â To address a king/queen with âYour Highnessâ was considered an insult.
Hereâs a more extensive list of titles and what you would call a person/their wife/their mother/their children
Pssst
Hey, are you an artist or writer with WIPs?
Come here... I got a secret for you pssst come âere
waiting in deep suspense
Psst you ready here comes the secret
Here it comes
I am also very curious about this secret
Your time spent enjoying the creative process is infinitely more valuable that any final project you create. So stop putting yourself down for never finishing or posting those WIPs because every moment you spent creating something you loved is a moment not wasted. Your progress and talent is measured by your passion not your number of posts.
I genuinely really need to hear this, quite often
