i think my take on that guy who makes videos roleplaying as techno is that techno himself would probably get a kick out of it and find it kind of flattering but what's equally important is how techno's living friends and family feel about it. and the fact that several of them have said that it makes them uncomfortable that someone is profiting off of his likeness by copying his persona and technodad seems unsure about how he feels about it means this guy should probably stop out of respect

for those not in the know btw a bunch of larp youtubers have emerged recently roleplaying as ccs previously in the dsmp sphere. technolarp specifically kind of got more attention recently because skeppy collabed with him which uhm. i cant imagine is great for the psyche tbh

honestly all i want is for allo people in fandom to sincerely think about if they’re participating in erasure when they create sexual material of canonically sex repulsed/averse ace characters. “it’s not ace erasure because ace people can still have sex!” “it’s not ace erasure because asexuality is a spectrum!” ok if you want to play The Spectrum Card maybe you should consider that writing a canonically sex-averse ace character as a sex-favourable ace person instead means that you’re superficially acknowledging their asexuality while ALSO erasing the character’s more nuanced identity as a sex-averse person. have you ever thought about that before

maybe they weren;t kidding about the amount of vitriol for doing a hair of a thing wrong because why is artfight being cast as a pariah of ungodly proportions when they don't allow you to trace a 3D model. like genuinely, some of you are fucking fuming.

the people who do YOUTUBE KIDS RIGGING, who's intro-portfolio can't even showcase their best animation, teamed in for traditional hand-drawn animation. holy shit!! not even an appropriate downgrade

fellas if you’re “boycotting” youtube you have to concede you will never use youtube again 👍 i mean it, youtube will never get better, youtube is your dying weird uncle with a fuck ton of money. this isn’t a boycott it’s a termination. eventually, it’s gonna be dead or drink itself to death but you have to reroute your life around him until then

now I’m going to be a real asshole, this boycott was ideally broken from the start. Plenty of people have boycotted Youtube before, even their biggest faces and they just ignored it.

It’s not Instagram, that only makes money as a picture app, or Twitter that only makes money for bite-sized 60 character posts

Youtube houses most videos on the planet.

I don’t know if y’all are just exceedingly hopeful or don’t know how boycotts work but you boycott locally, not a $31 billion company that can literally stuff money in its ears not to listen. And they haven’t!
