Participating in Art Fight 2026 for the first time ever

For a couple of years now, I was aware of this little art game online called Artfight. Granted, I honestly didn't know what it entailed until earlier this month when I checked out the website. Honestly, my art journey has been a little rough these past couple of years, especially when it comes to:

Churning out art on a consistent basis

Posting on any social media platform

The first reason is honestly more of a poor time management and procrastination deal as the world keeps going to shit and my energy ever depleting.

The second reason however, has been the curse of my anxiety of being perceived in both the positive and negative light. Basically I'm scared of no one seeing my art and also being being critical of my artwork, isn't anxiety a wonderful thing?

Anyways, one day my friend Kit messages our group chat saying how she was going to join Art Fight this year and I just decided you know what? I'm gonna join in on this cause why tf not? I need some sort of push to get out of my comfort zone on the internet and think this is the perfect game to participate in.

This will be for fun, I'm excited to draw art for others, and I'm hopeful that people will enjoy looking at my ocs along with me enjoying others!

Already with this declaration, I've been thinking about my ocs so much and already finished 1/3 character sheets that I am creating for this game and that's kind of the point of this. I want to be excited about art again, and to do this I need to get back to my Deviantart ways and drawing everyday.
