COVER STORY: VINCE STAPLES, REGULAR GENIUS.
PHOTO BY DANIEL SHEA FOR THE FADER.
Thought I’d share my progress!
I cut my hair last May. The first picture is from December and the second is from roughly April. Cutting my hair is the best decision I’ve ever made regarding my hair. PLEASE don’t hold on to dead ends because of length. Not only does it not look good, your hair won’t grow at the rate it could (if it grows at all). If you can see through your ends, they need to be trimmed!
Q: Do you wear hijab out of obligation or to make a statement? A: It’s a choice not an obligation.
