"When two streams meet to form a river, they can either be violent or benevolent. With you, I feel the latter. The rapids in the current feel like the times we face, but we're still a river through and through."
I live a very balanced life of noticing things nobody else does and not noticing the things that literally everybody notices

I dont think things can be treated with that kind of duality. For Japanese who don't think that way, the gods are in the darkness. They may come out into the light at times, but they are usually deep in the forest or mountains. When a holy spot is created, the gods drop down onto it. That is why, in the shrines that are closest to their original form that still exist in Okinawa . . . the image of the god is just a tree or a stone. And such a shrine isn't in a bright, shining place, it's in an overgrown dark area where the silence is deep—a butterfly may flit about, but it's a bit eerie. When I went there . . . it felt as if something were there. This sense of dark awe is the sort of veneration that Japanese have toward certain forests and natural objects.

""What you seek is seeking you." - Rumi
These words by Rumi always hit me whenever I look deeply into the circumstances that keep repeating themselves, despite the number of times I try to gaslight myself.
The person you say you're over or done with but unconsciously, you keep reaching for them. The moment they find a way to come back into your life, you feel so tempted to go back to them. But you stop yourself, at least for that moment.
Some way or another, if there's still a longing or you're waiting for even the slightest hint that they're still there, you keep checking on them in one way or another. The decision to leave them was made by you, yet you still keep going back, searching for some clue that they're still present.
So yes, don't be surprised if they try to reach you in different ways. What you seek is seeking you.

Its rare to have some close people in your life who makes you feel like you have right over them( not really but yes you are not afraid to ask them for anything) . Its rare. Who doesn't make you question yourself twice before you tell or ask them anything.. It feels like you dont need to be embarrassed by yourself at this moment with this person. You can be yourself.
Since the childhood, I craved her attention more than anyone. It used to piss me off when she was physically present but lost elsewhere in her head or watching some media. There was a time, I couldn't enjoy watching movies without her but as the time passes by you learn to enjoy few and more hobbies all by your self. Since the time i enjoy watching films alone, I find it hard to watch with anybody but close ones.
She's not here with me. I miss the way I act so unhinged in her presence and giggle like crazy. She might annoy me like hell and shouting like crazy at her. I miss myself like that despite the big headache she might be sometimes ( cause like peace) . I can't be this way dominating or ordering somebody else around me the way I do with her.
How do few people are able to jump from one relationship to the next?
Then it's too late for them to realise it's a pattern and it's definitely unhealthy. You are able to look at all the best qualities in him at the initial stage and then later the flaws would seep in. It's envitable. Then you realise, he ain't for you. Then you jump to some other place, where you feel safe at the beginning but again toxicity begins either cause of you of by the other. This cycle is not healthy. I don't know how people find it so normal or healthy.
There's a reason why it's said, people need to spend some time with themselves after breakup and learn to not become too dependent on one person only.
