I really wish they touched on Ben’s home life more in season 3, because him choosing to stay without even mentioning his parents once is wild.

Because what did he want them to tell them? That he died? That he chose to stay behind? That because of how much he's changed, he feels like he's not really their son anymore so it doesn't matter if he stays on Nublar instead of going home?

Ya know, I also dont buy that Ben wouldn't tell anyone else in the N6 if he liked someone or started dating someone. Your trying to convince me he wouldn't call his BFF and tell Yaz he was crushing on someone? Wouldn't tell Brooklynn about it? Wouldn't mention it to Kenji or Sammy?

I also doubt they would have just stopped talking for the 6-12 months since Brooklynn's death (with Sammy and Yaz being the exception as they talked during that time.)

Your trying to convince me that Yaz, the Psychology Major, is not checking in on her friends, even sporadically? Your trying to convince me Sammy never reached out to ask what they'd like in care packages? Your telling me no one sent a "thank you" to her once they got them?

I dont buy it. Its too OOC for the N6. Like also knowing they kept the weekly calls up until Brooklynn's death, like grief sure but no text messages, no life updates? That's not them.
