The words echoed in your mind. Demons were vile creatures, full of anger and hatred towards the rest of the world; the person before you, though indeed powerful, did not quite seem to embody that description.
“So you’re an angel,” he mused, circling you slowly, like a predator taking in his prey. “Interesting. First time I’ve seen one up close.”
“I am an angel indeed,” you said, tugging at your bindings uncomfortably. You’d tucked in your wings, but they were still being crushed against the rocky wall to which you’d been restrained. “And what manner of being are you, sir?”
“What manner of being am I?” he chuckled, stopping before you to gaze into your eyes. His own were rather striking; he was, as a whole, inhumanly beautiful, with a bearing reminiscent to the heroes of old, whom the humans liked to elevate to gods. But at the same time, there was a darkness lurking in his eyes, radiating off of him. With a start, you noticed the slivers of red running down his skin, web-fine cracks allowing his power to trickle through.
“Demon,” you hissed, trying to pull away. “You really are a demon, aren’t you?”
He laughed again, louder now. “What, it took you this long to figure out? And here I thought angels knew everything.”
His eyes were bright, his gaze challenging. More power - strong, raw, destructive - radiated off of him, setting your teeth on edge. The cracks seemed to be getting larger, letting more of his might seep into the world. A twinge of terror rose within your thrumming throughout your body. A demon would rip an angel to shreds if it got the upper hand; this one had you at its mercy, and there was no doubt that you were dead.
You tensed as he leaned in closer, closing your eyes and commending your soul to your lord.
Instead, a soft hand brushed your cheek, trailing down your neck. You gasped, eyes flying open, to see him gazing at you with hunger in his eyes.
“You really are beautiful,” he said, his voice low. “You know how long I’ve been watching you? How long I’ve wanted you? How long I’ve needed you with me, [Y/N]?”
His eyes burned with desire, with the hunger of a starving man. A thrill ran down your spine as the realization struck you that he knew your name.
“Who are you?” you said, trying to keep the tremor out of your voice. “How do you know me? I am one of an order of thousands.”
“I have my ways,” he said with another demented giggle. “And for what its worth, my name is Chuuya. You may know me as Arahabaki, but then again, maybe not. I don’t care. After tonight, you’ll know me very well.”
His hands wandered lower, caressing your breasts, your stomach, the curve of your hips. A sudden heat ran through you, making you shudder.
“You like that?” he asked, grinning. “You enjoy it?”
“No,” you lied. “What are you doing?”
“Come on, don’t tell me you don’t know about sex. You don’t know how to have sex.”
“I understand the concept,” you said, flustered by the way he fiddled with the edges of your silken dress. “But I am an angel, I am not made for procreation.”
“Aren’t you?”
With a swift motion he lifted you up, wrapping your legs around his waist as he moulded his body to yours. “You’re really sure you’re not made for sex?”
“I-I-” Your thoughts floated away as you felt his manhood against you, against that soft, secret part of you that you’d never quite paid attention to. Your body had always been there, a vessel for your duties; but as he pressed himself against you, his body hard and strong, it was as though you’d been reborn for the first time. You could feel everything: the crumbling rock against your back, the grass beneath your feet, Chuuya’s breath against your lips. Heat pooled in your belly, running down your arms and up your chest. You opened your mouth, though for what, you weren’t sure - only for Chuuya to capture your lips in a fervent kiss. The air grew heavier as his power bled into the air; but it was difficult to focus, to care, not with Chuuya’s hands in your hair, caressing your body, tearing your clothes to claim you as his own.
“Mine,” he grunted. “You’re mine.”
“I-” You couldn’t argue. You didn’t want to argue. You were lost, lost in the throes of bliss, the delirium of an exquisite ecstasy you could never have imagined. You moaned, arching your back, throwing your head back to let him have you. His claws raked your skin, sullying your pure flesh, ripping your wings from your back.
“Stop!” you screamed, as pain cut through the haze of pleasure. “Stop it!”
“No,” he growled with a laugh. “No. Once these are off, you are mine!”
“No,” you said, tears running down your face even as your body reached its keening edge. “Wait, please don’t-”
The world went white-hot, drowning you in ripples of fire. Sparks danced in your vision as you clutched at Chuuya, who began to laugh.
“Now you believe me?” he cried out. “Now you know the truth?”
Panting as you came down from your high - that blasted, blessed high - you blinked at the demon, at the fire in his eyes, the blood dripping down his face. White feathers lay scattered around you, a numbness spreading down your back.
“What have you done?” you whispered.
“I’ve made you mine,” he said, lifting you up his arms, pushing aside the now broken restraints. “You’re never going back to heaven again, my little angel. You’re gonna stay with me forever in hell.”
I just saw you post about demon king!Chuuya with a darling with mental health problems and i just got randomly inspired. So if you're comfortable with it i'd like to request something similar.
Basically while darling doesn't try to die or want to, she also doesn't care to live. Like she won't try to die on purpose but also won't stop her death, simply because she doesn't see any value in life. So when he abducted her she was also really chill with it since she couldn't care less. What i would like to request is how Chuuya reacts when she laughs off her near death (i'll leave what happened to you) and how he reacts when she tells him she doesn't think her life is worth the effort (she suffers from severe self-esteem problems).
You looked out over the carnage in numb silence. The wind whistled over the blood-drenched snow, over the corpses of your father’s soldiers in crimson armor. Their slayer sat perched atop the rocks, framed by the full moon.
“Are you all right?” he asked.
“You killed everyone,” you said, taking in the blood seeping into the snow. The decapitated head from which it came was that of your father’s personal physician, an odious man who’d been convinced your listlessness had been a wilful act. The carriage had crushed his corpse as it landed.
“[Y/N], you’re bleeding.”
Your name on his lips drew your attention. You looked away to see him watching you, his expression far more concerned than it should have been. You raised your hand towards the stickiness on your shoulder, wincing as pain lancinated down your arm.
“Careful,” the man said. “You might have broken it. I tried to get you out without running the carriage off the road, but these bastards had a fight in ‘em.”
“I didn’t,” you said. “Not more so than...”
Not more so than anyone would have had their carriage rolled down the mountainside.
Slowly, the man reached out towards you. There was blood staining his fingers, which should have frightened you. Instead it made you laugh.
“Hey, what is it?” the man said as you curled up onto the ground, shoulders shaking. “[Y/N], what’s wrong?”
“You tried to kill me,” you said, giggling. “I nearly died there, didn’t I?”
“What? Hell no, I’d never hurt you!” The man dropped to his knees beside you, grasping your face in his hands to force you to look at him. “Hey, [Y/N], come on! Did you hit your head or something?”
“Maybe.” you reached out to trace your hand along his cheek, taking in his appearance. He was incredibly handsome, more than any man or woman that you’d ever met. “Who are you, exactly?”
“I’m the Shutendoji,” he said gruffly, placing his hand over your own. “Though you can call me Chuuya.”
“Shutendoji?” You blinked. “You’re the... Drunken Demon.”
“You don’t have to be afraid,” he said quickly. “I didn’t mean to hurt you. I just wanted to take you away so that I can protect you. I just had to get rid of everyone else in my way first.”
To protect me. The words echoed in your head, melding with the recriminations of your father. “I don’t need protection. I would rather have died.”
“What? Don’t say that, [Y/N].” Chuuya leaned closer, grasping your shoulders to hold you in place. At any other time you would have been scandalized to be this close to a strange man all alone, but considering the circumstances you couldn’t bring yourself to care.
“I’ll say what I like,” you said. “And I am right. Why on earth would you want to protect me?”
“Because I love you.”
This was ludicrous enough to force another laugh from your lips. “What? Why?”
“Why the hell not? You’re great. And I’m keeping you with me.”
“You say you are the Shutendoji, and you say you want me,” you said. “Unless... are you going to eat me?”
“Of course not! I’m never going to hurt you! What part of that don’t you understand?” He shook you slightly, eyes frantic as he met your gaze. “I know what you’re going through, [Y/N]. I’ve been watching you for a while now, watching that motherfucker you call your father has been doing to you. What they’ve all been doing to you. And I couldn’t stand it anymore, that’s why I had to come get you.”
You stared at him, taking in his face, his body, everything he’d done. In some vague, distant way, you understood what he was trying to say, but it was too difficult to comprehend directly.
“I’m not saying you’re lying,” you said immediately, a reaction shaped through years of mollifying your father. “But if you really love me, then you are on the losing end of that bargain. I’m not worthy of love.”
“That’s what you think.”
“That’s what everyone thinks.” You gestured to the corpses around you. “All of them. Physicians and priests, family members and friends. That’s why they were sending me away.”
“To an asylum, to lock you away forever,” he said with a humorless laugh. “They all got you thinking you were the crazy one, when in truth you're the only sane one out of all of them. The only sane one in a world of crazy people.”
You bit your lip, forbearing to point out that a murderous brute like him could hardly be the arbitrator of sanity. Nevertheless, it was nice to know that someone out there who didn’t think you were a complete waste of space, that you were worthy of being loved.
Its only temporary, your mind reminded you. He’ll soon learn just how pathetic you are. And then he’ll kill you.
“Don’t leave me, [Y/n], please,” Chuuya begged. “I can’t live without you.”
“And what will you do then? Will you keep me locked away as well?”
“We can do whatever you want,” he said immediately. “We can go wherever you want, live however you like. Whatever it takes to make you happy. Just... be with me.”
You looked around yourself one more time. One final time, to seal it in your heart.
“Fine,” you said. “I’ll come with you. Do with me whatever you want.”
"Really?" Chuuya brightened. To your surprise, he wrapped his arms around you, pulling you into a hug. "I love you, [Y/N], I love you so very much. I promise, we'll be together for the rest of our lives."
Uhm, can I request a story of Yandere Demon King Chuuya X Reader. The reader had mental health issues like she was always wanting to die. The illness got worse when he was kidnapped by Chuuya. She tried to kill herself multiple times but Chuuya managed to save her. Maybe now, she was restrained in bed and Chuuya said that she needed bed rest but she knows he was lying. Also she is a crybaby.

Chuuya gazed at you, at your red-rimmed eyes as you tried to get comfortable while chained to the bed. The spell he’d cast was taking its toll on you, making you drowsy, but consciously or subconsciously, you were still fighting it.
Even in your miserable state, he still found you beautiful. Desperately, dangerously, so. It disgusted him just how much your vulnerability turned him on, and yet he couldn’t help himself. He wanted you, he wanted you in his arms, he wanted to hold you and hug you and tell it you it was all going to be all right.
“Everything is fine,” he said thickly. “Just rest for a little while.”
“Please let me go,” you said. “Please, I promise I won’t try to hurt myself again. I don’t know what you’ve done to me, but I don’t like it.”
“I know,” he lied. “I know you won’t hurt yourself. But you really need to rest.”
It was laughable, really. Utterly pathetic for a being as strong as him. You were a human, as delicate as a gossamer web, as fragile as spun glass, as soft and weak and inconsequential as the dew at dawn. It shouldn’t have been this hard to keep you safe and happy. And yet he couldn’t. He was a demon, one the strongest demons in Japan; he could fight armies without breaking a sweat, lay ruin to entire cities if he wanted to. But he didn’t know how to protect you from yourself, didn’t know how to fight the demons living in your head.
And looking at you, at the marks littering your arms and legs, it hurt.
You’d started crying, sobbing softly to yourself again. Chuuya sighed and moved towards you, only for you to flinch violently and try to pull away. “Sorry,” he muttered. “I’m sorry, [Y/N], for everything. But I promise you’re safe with me. You know who I am? I’m the Shutendoji. I promise you, I’ll keep you safe.”
You didn’t answer, only looked at him with those wide eyes glimmering with tears. Wet with tears, but with a spark of curiosity within.
“Listen to me, [Y/N],” he said. “You’re gonna have to live now, all right? I don’t care what kind of lifestyle you want, what you wanna do, where you wanna go. I’ll give it all to you, so long as you live. You can’t hurt yourself again, okay? I won’t have it.”
You blinked and gave a shaky nod. He could see the questions dancing at the tip of your tongue, confusion and even a smidgen of fear in your eyes. Good. It meant that you were still there, that there was still some spark in you.
It was going to take some time, but he was going to bring you back from the edge. He didn’t know what he would have to do, who he would have to hurt, but he was going to make you happy. Planting a gentle kiss to the top of your head, Chuuya laughed softly as you trembled.
“It’s okay,” he said. “Just don’t hurt yourself. I promise you, everything will be all right.”
Your writing is so beautiful, may i request fyodor with a reader who knows a lot ? She knows almost everything in the world and can talk about it for hours , from science to spirituality but the thing is she is a little bit naive and easy to be fooled .

“You know, I sometimes wonder if there are beings other than regular humans amongst us,” you said.
Fyodor smiled. “And what has brought that question forth, my little dove?” he asked, sitting beside you on the bed.
You’d been living with him for a while now, in a secluded little house on the outskirts of Yokohama. While you’d initially been hesitant about moving in with him, you’d lost your apartment in a fire, and finding a new place had been surprisingly hard. You worked remotely, so commuting time wasn’t a problem, and the rent was cheaper than living closer to the city centre, so it had made sense economically.
And Fyodor was the gentlest man you’d ever met in your life, so it wasn’t like he could hurt you.
“I don’t know,” you said, kicking your heels as you leaned back against the headboard. “Or rather, I do, but - I was reading this book ‘Flatland’, about a two-dimensional person who lives in a 2D world, who’s visited by a being from the third dimension. It got me thinking: what if there are fourth-dimensional people walking amongst us right now?”
“A fourth dimensional being?” Fyodor shrugged. “I assume they would look quite odd, for one.”
“That’s the whole thing,” you said excitedly, “you wouldn’t be able to tell. To us, the 4D person would look just like a regular person. They’d only just phase in and out of our plane of existence.”
“Like a sphere growing larger and smaller in space.”
“Exactly!” You sat up excitedly. “Have you read the book too?”
“I have not. You simply explain things so well.”
Your smile faltered a bit at the teasing note in his voice. “You’re making fun of me,” you said. “I know I didn’t explain it that well.”
“I will admit I have come across some of those ideas before.” Fyodor patted your hand before brushing a strand of your hair behind your ear. “After all, it is known that some people out there have supernatural abilities, that are different from regular humans.”
“Oh yeah, the Ability users. Yeah, I’ve heard of them too. Never seen one in real life, though.”
Fyodor’s lips twitched. “They are very rare,” he said. “Though it is impossible to tell their true number.”
“I wonder if they are from some other dimension.” You tapped your chin. “I’ve seen some of them on social media, and they look quite ordinary. But their powers are said to be extraordinary. Some of them can even bend the laws of physics.”
“A perversion of the natural laws of this world.” Fyodor cocked his head to the side, and added in a curiously soft tone: “What would you do, [Y/N], if you met one?”
“Me?” You laughed. “Well, I don’t know, I’d try to get to know them, try to understand what they’re like. They haven’t pin-pointed the cause of their abilities; the prevailing theory is that it is some kind of genetic mutation, though some scientists say that its due to environmental factors that affect them in the womb.”
“Would you be afraid of them?”
“Afraid?” You pursed your lips thoughtfully. “I don’t know. Maybe? I suppose it depends on the kind of person they are. I mean, at the heart of it they are people, aren’t they? They’re capable of good and evil just like the rest of us.”
To your surprise, Fyodor chuckled. “You are truly kind,” he said, reaching out to caress your cheek. “You have a beautiful heart.”
You reddened, touching his hand softly. His hands were cold - he was always cold, thanks to his anaemia - but for the slightest moment a tingle passed through your fingertips, like the static of socks on a carpet. You flinched but Fyodor tightened his grip, pulling you closer.
“Yes, a very beautiful heart,” he repeated. “But it does worry me. You should be afraid of them, [Y/N]; you should be afraid of them indeed.”
“Why?” you said, wishing he wouldn’t hold onto you so tightly. “Have you ever met one?”
“Would you need to meet a wild animal to be afraid of one? Would you wish to experience being robbed before you consider it a bad experience?”
“No, but-” You bit your lip. He had a good point. Fyodor always made good points, common sense ideas that you usually didn’t think of. It would have been annoying, but he never made you feel bad about it. Not too bad, anyway.
As if reading your thoughts, Fyodor ran his fingers through your hair. “It is all right, my dove,” he said. “It is not as though they are pounding down your door. But it is something to think of, yes? Danger exists everywhere, but more so in this world that we live in now.”
“I guess.” You pouted. “You know, you always see the cynical side of everything. It’s not very nice.”
“Oh, I am not nice. You are the nice one, while I am the jaded one. It is why we are so suited to each other.” He sat up, straightening his clothes, a sign that he was leaving. For some odd reason, your heart tightened in your chest at his innocuous actions, even though you knew he was only going downstairs to his office.
“Do you have a lot of work today?” you asked. “I was hoping we go out for lunch, and then get some groceries and-”
“No. We won’t be going anywhere today.”
“Oh,” you said. “Then I’ll just go alone.”
“No. I do not like to be alone in the house.” He turned to you with that soft, sad smile that was so characteristic of him. “You know that too, don’t you, my dove?”
And before you could argue the point, he planted a soft kiss atop your head and exited the room, leaving you alone. You frowned - you couldn’t put a finger on it, but you didn’t like it when he behaved that way - but dismissed the thought. After all, Fyodor was a good boyfriend in every other way. He was neat, responsible and far more intelligent than most men. So what if he was a little emotionally distant?
After all, you figured, it’s not like he’s got me trapped here. I can leave anytime I want.
From the moment he’d learned of your ability, Chuuya had developed a fondness for you. It had started off as a proclivity for taking missions with you; it had developed into something else, a relationship that was too close to be called mere friendship.
Doomsday had said that he had a crush on you. You’d had the same thought - Chuuya’s behaviour was too transparent to be anything else - but you’d never taken it very seriously, seeing the horde of admirers the handsome mafiosi had. If he really did like you, you figured, he would do something about it himself.
You’d never imagined he would do something like this.
You couldn’t feel your power anymore. Doomsday’s voice was a faint echo in your head, screaming in alarm. Chuuya had bound you not only physically but mentally as well - the energy had been sapped from your body, even the slightest movement unusually draining. You sat in the corner of the small but lavish room, trying to feel Doomsday again, trying to remember what had happened, and how it connected to right now. Chuuya faced you across the room, eyes bright.
“I’m sorry about this,” he said, running a hand through his hair. “But I can’t leave you alone anymore. Its too dangerous.”
“What did you do?” you whispered. “Chuuya, what have you done?”
“Something I should have done a long time ago,” Chuuya said through gritted teeth. “I had to go to that bastard in the Special Abilities Division to get some information on how to restrain you; it cost me an arm and a leg, but it was worth it.”
“Why?” you demanded. “I can take care of myself, Chuuya. You know that better than anyone else.”
“Oh yeah, I know,” he said with a bitter laugh. “I know how strong you are, I know you can take on just about anyone, including me.” He laughed again, shaking his head. “What if you decide to leave me? What if you decide you’re done here? You’re incredible - anyone will take you in with open arms, anyone could fall for you on first sight. I know you have a bunch of guys hanging around you, just waiting for a chance with you.”
“I-”
“Don’t lie to me!” His voice rose higher. He strode across the room, grabbing your shoulders to look into your eyes. “Don’t tell me any different,” he hissed. “I know! I can tell. I know you think I’m not good enough. But you know what: you’re wrong. That bastard inside your head is wrong; your friends, everyone who tells you to leave me is wrong! I am the only one for you. The only one in the whole world who understands you, fits you, can stand next to you! I am your soulmate.”
“And you had to kidnap me to tell me that,” you said, roused to a furious recklessness all of a sudden.
Chuuya stared at you for moment, then laughed. “Good one,” he said, pulling away. “Yeah, I had to kidnap you. I told you: I’m not taking any chances. I’m not taking any chances that you’ll leave me. I’ll keep you here, bound and gapped if I have to, until I find some way to ensure your love. It’s the only way we’ll be together forever.”
By the way in rose in winter story reader was human, right? If that she really have strong will that she didn't break down after her life before and Chuuya's abuse i feel pity to her i really hope she find her human lover at the end or is she demon but have lower rank/power than Chuuya?
Yeah, the reader is a human, Chuuya kidnapped her from her village because he fell in love with her (you know, the usual :P). I'd say she has average will, but its kind of more that her family wasn't really nice? You know, they kind of wanted to sell her off.
As for what happens to her afterwards, well, she's with Chuuya now. Who wouldn't want to be with him? ^_^

Sure, he was a Demon. The Drunken Demon, a horrifying legend throughout the land. But looking at him, it was difficult to imagine him the monster people thought him to be. For one thing, he was too beautiful. Inhumanly beautiful, yes, but nowhere near enough to be a monster.
You knew he killed. You knew there were things he kept from you, when he disappeared in the night and reappeared in the early hours of morning reeking of blood. But did that really matter to you? He kept you safe from a world you’d learned to hate, shown you hope when you’d nearly lost it. Why hate him, just because he indulged in his nature?
“What are you thinking?” Chuuya asked, rousing you from your reverie. You raised your head from his chest and looked at him, unable to stop the thrum of happiness from rushing through you.
“Nothing,” you said. “Just thinking about you.”
“Good things, I hope.”
“The best of things,” you said ardently. “I love you, you know.”
His eyes widened, jaw dropping just a little. “Really?” he said, slowly, eagerly.
Smiling, you nodded. “Of course. I love you very much.”
He laughed. “You don’t know how happy that makes me,” he said. “What... how, though? I’d have thought you hated me.”
“You love me,” you said. “You’re the first person to truly love me. Why not love you back?”
“Ah.” He sat up a little, eyes gleaming with delight as he pulled you into his arms. “Thank you, Kianna. Thank you so very much. I love you too, with all my heart. Promise me you’ll stay with me.”

You looked around at the snow covered garden, gleaming silver in the moonlight. It was an ethereal scene, made all the more beautiful by the massive red roses peeking through the snow-covered bushes.
“... roses in winter,” you said, your breath coming out in white puffs. Slowly, you stepped out into the garden, pulling your shawl tighter about yourself. Chuuya was so paranoid about you catching a chill that he almost never let you out, so it was nice to feel the cold on your face.
“I know you like gardening,” Chuuya said, fiddling with the bindings around his torso as he fell into step beside you. He hadn’t bothered to dress warmly, yet he didn’t seem cold. “Figured you’d like to get out of the room.”
You didn’t answer, too mesmerized by the riot of color against the monochromatic backdrop of the garden. You wandered over to the nearest bush, tracing a petal as soft as... well, a rose-petal.
“How are they alive?” you asked. “Is it magic? Can you even do something like that?”
“Oh yeah. Turns out I can.” He shifted in place, looking less like the mighty demon lord that he was and more like a nervous schoolboy. “You do like ‘em, right? I know you planted them outside your... old place.”
“I did.” Ignoring the pang in your heart at the mention of home - there was no point to it, after all - you peered closely at the roses. They were exquisite, each bloom as large as your fist. The garden was alive with their fragrance, almost a testament to their existence. “They all died, though,” you admitted. “You seem to have a better green thumb than I do.”

The words rose to your lips, a retort you would have once made without a second thought. But now, they faded away before the anticipation in Chuuya’s eyes. He truly had made an effort, taken more of an interest in you than anyone ever had your whole life. You pursed your lips, then smiled. “Thank you. The garden is lovely. I like it very much.”
“You do?” Chuuya beamed. “Great!”
You jumped as he threw his arms around you, capturing your lips with his own. You stiffened, pulling away instinctively, but Chuuya’s arms were like a vice, gripping you as tightly as he continued to kiss you in a passionate frenzy. You finally allowed yourself to melt in his arms, eyes fluttering shut as your hands moved to his shoulders of your own accord. When he finally pulled away you blinked, breathless. Chuuya grinned back, equally red-faced.
“I’m glad you like ‘em,” he said.
Your face heated up. “Be careful,” you said weakly, picking at a stray bloom pressed between your bodies. “We’re hurting it.”
“Ah, shit. Sorry.” Chuuya pulled away a little, and you gladly followed suit, pretending to care for the flowers to put some space between you two. Your mind whirled with being with him around him; he was so entirely handsome it was hard to remember at times that he was a demon.
Chuuya, however, leaned forward, cocking his head to peer at your face. “Don’t hide from me,” he said. “They’re still nothing compared to you. You’re the prettiest flower here, [Y/N].”
“Ah.” You lowered your head even more, trying to hide just how flustered you were. “That’s not - you’re too kind. I can’t believe you did all this.”
“Why not? Anything for you.”
“No, I mean - all this.” You waved your arms around. “All this. It’s... very thoughtful.”
Chuuya pouted. “You think I can’t be thoughtful?”
“No, no,” you said quickly. “That’s not what I meant. But... you are a demon, aren’t you?”
“Yeah, so?”
“You don’t-” You tried to pull your foot in your mouth- “act like it.”
To your relief, Chuuya chuckled. “What’s a demon supposed to act like?” he said.” You want me to be all crazy and violent?” He leaned in with a smirk. “Aren’t I wild enough for you?”
You cursed yourself for the erratic pounding of your heart. “I meant, still, demons are supposed to be, you know, demonic and all that.”
“I know.” He sobered up a little, looking somewhat abashed. “I try to hold myself to a higher standard than the others. Some of the other demons can be awful.”
“Will I be safe around them?”
“Like hell am I sharing you with anyone!”
You raised a brow. “So you intend to keep me locked away forever?”
“If I have to,” he said immediately. “I’m not risking anything happening to you.”
Your heart withered a little at this, the reality of your situation rearing its ugly head again. Chuuya seemed to notice your disappointment, for he squeezed your shoulder reassuringly. Don’t worry, [Y/N],” he said. “It won’t come to that, I promise. I know how difficult it is for you right now, but I’ll make sure everything is fine in the end I promise I’ll make things better. You just have to trust me.”
“I just don’t want to live like this,” you whispered, not meeting his gaze. “I can’t live alone.”
“You’re not alone,” he said. “You have me. You’ll always have me. I promise you; things will get better. I’ll make them better. At one time you hated me, right? And now you don’t anymore.”
That much was true enough. You didn’t hate Chuuya anymore. You didn’t love him - you weren’t sure what you felt about him - but your initial resentment had faded.
Maybe, just maybe, there was something there. Like roses blooming in a frozen garden, your love had begun in twisted circumstances, but maybe it could survive.
Maybe, one day, it could even become something real.
To the person who wrote that really long ask about their OC, I'm sorry but I don't think I can complete it. “Where do you think you're going dressed like that?”
You froze, hand still upon the doorknob. “Fyodor,” you said, stomach clenching. “I... was just going to the store for some stuff.”
Fyodor stepped out from the shadows of the living-room, crossing his arms as he leaned against the door frame. “Your body is for my eyes only,” he said in his flat voice. “Have you forgotten that, my love?”
Your stomach dipped again, almost painfully, and you took a deep breath to calm yourself. Fyodor was extremely caring, but his concern could be overbearing at times. “I know that,” you said. “But, I mean, I’m not dressed inappropriately.”
“Are you not?”
You looked away. At one time, you wouldn’t have given the black sweatshirt and leggings you were wearing a second thought, but ever since the accident you’d started to second-guess anything even remotely form-fitting. So your clothes tonight had been an active choice. “No,” you said defensively. “Lots of girls dress like this.”
“At home. Not when they go out alone after dark.”
“It’s fine,” you said, somewhat exasperated. “It’s still light out, and the store is like, ten minutes away.”
“But that outfit leaves too much to the imagination.”
“Its leggings and sweatshirt, not a string bikini,” you snapped.
Fyodor pursed his lips. Immediately, a stab of guilt ran through you. “I-I’m sorry,” you said quickly. “I just - Fyodor, I don’t like it when you tell me what to do. I’ve always worn these kinds of clothes, and it’s been fine.”
“Has it?” Fyodor moved towards you, eyes hooded in the dim light of the hallway. You stopped yourself from instinctively pulling back, reminding yourself that it was only your boyfriend. Fyodor brushed his cold fingers down your cheek, and an uncomfortable flush ran across your skin nevertheless.
“Tell me, which one of us gets catcalled when they go outside, my little dove?” he said. “Which one of us had a stalker following them around? Who got assaulted right around the time we first met?”
“That was different,” you stammered, wishing he could pull away as he leaned in even closer. He was tall and thin, barely there at times; yet at times like these he could be overpowering. “It was late at night then, and I - I should have been more careful, but-”
“But this time it is different, yes? Because it is ‘still light out’? Because it happened that way the other time, so it cannot possibly happen now?”
You jerked as he ran his fingers along the insides of your thighs, quickly and violently. “Fyodor!” you exclaimed. “What are you doing?”
“Nothing.” He quickly flipped you over, pressing himself against your body until you could feel his manhood against your ass. Before you could react more than a startled gasp he stepped away, leaving you stumbling.
“I tell you what to do because you aren’t smart enough to be left on your own,” he said flatly. “What I did could be done by anyone, anywhere, at any time. Even at a nearly-empty convenience store while its still light out.”
“It won’t happen again,” you said, shaken by Fyodor’s callousness. “That guy is dead.”
“Yes, it is fortunate that he walked off a bridge and drowned after driving you into a breakdown.”
“I didn’t have a breakdown!”
“Really? You call that night you spent crying in my bed something else, then?” He grasped your chin in a pale hand, forcing you to meet his gaze. “Is it worth it, [Y/N]?” he asked softly. “Is it worth all of it just to defy me? The months of paranoia, having to abandon your job, your boyfriend, your life - will all of it be worth it just to wear an outfit? Because if you like the attention that much, as to twist my concern into something else, then I certainly will not help you should there be any consequences.”
Tears filled your eyes as you struggled to form an answer. You’d thought you were getting better, moving past the assault and the hellish nightmare of having to flee your home-town just to escape your stalker. But that niggling thought still lived at the back of your mind, the ever-present fear of being hunted again. Fyodor had been kind enough to help you out with settling in Yokohama, but you didn’t want to go through all of it again, and certainly not alone.
“... fine, I’ll change,” you said in a small voice.
“It will be better if you don’t go,” Fyodor said. “I planned to go get dinner anyway, so I will get you whatever you need.”
“That’s fine, thank you.”
“Ah, I’ve frightened my little bird.” Fyodor sighed, pressing his lips to the top of your head. You flinched, but forced yourself to lean in, reminding yourself once again Fyodor was your boyfriend. Who loved you more than anything in the world and had gone above and beyond just to prove it.

“I’m fine,” you whispered, burying your face in his shoulder.

Chuuya wasn’t sure what to make of the situation. He’d prepared himself for every scenario he could think of when he’d kidnapped you: he’d been ready for you to fight back, to cry and scream and call him every vile name in the book. He’d expected terror, confusion and despair - but not the absolute calm you were displaying right now.
“Kianna,” he said, standing before you with his arms crossed. “You’re pretty chill right now. Do you know who I am?”
“I know,” you said quietly. “You’re the Shutendoji.”
“That’s right,” he said, pleased. “I’m glad you recognise me. Or have you been watching me as well?”
“I’ve... seen you.” Your gaze flickered over his body, and Chuuya was delighted to see a faint blush brush your cheeks.He knelt before you, tucking a stray strand of your hair behind your ear. You squirmed just a little, pressing yourself back against the wall, but didn’t react much apart from that.
“Aren’t you afraid of me?” Chuuya asked. “Or is there something else going on in your mind?”
“There’s no point in being afraid,” you replied. “You haven’t done anything to me.”
“Yes, but you must have heard of my reputation,” he said, tracing a black claw down your cheek. “Aren’t you afraid I’m going to eat you?”
“I’ve been here about a week now,” you said flatly. “If you wanted to kill me, you would have by now.”
Your eyes glimmered with defiance and resignation. Despite himself, Chuuya was impressed. “So you’ve noticed,” he said. “You’ve noticed just how nice I’ve been. I’ve kept you safe and warm and comfortable, haven’t I? Do you know why I did all that?”
“...no.”
“It’s because I love you.”
This time, your eyes did widen. “What?” you exclaimed. “What do you mean, you love me?”
“I love you.” Chuuya leaned in excitedly, grasping your face tenderly with both hands. “I love you so much, Kianna, I just couldn’t stay away from you. You want to stay with me, don’t you?”
You opened your mouth, then paused, hesitant. Fear gripped Chuuya’s heart, and he wondered if that revelation was what was finally going to drive you away. He was a monster, after all, and there was little chance that a human - especially one as perfect as you - could ever love him.
“Fine,” you said. “Thank you.”
He stared. “Thank you?”
“I don’t love you, but I appreciate the sentiment.”
“You don’t hate me?”
You shrugged, then shook your head. “You’re kind, kinder than anyone has ever been to be. I don’t... like that you’re the Shutendoji, but right now I’ve no complaints.”
“You never will,” he said eagerly. “I promise you, you won’t regret being with me. I’ll keep you by my side, and we’ll be together, forever.”

Demon King - Part 4

Chuuya raced down the mountain, veins still thrumming with bloodlust. The moon cast a silvery light upon the scene, but the beauty of the quiet night was wasted on the Demon King.
I shouldn’t have left [Y/N] alone, he thought, not [Y/N] or the kid!
It had been two months since you’d given birth, after nine months of a harrowing pregnancy. Chuuya hadn’t been able to believe that he’d sired a child with you, a healthy - if half-demon - baby girl at that. Demons didn’t really have children; they were more likely to slaughter or eat their offspring in fits of jealousy or rage, inherent to their own nature. Chuuya’s own first instinct had been to destroy the fetus to keep you safe, but his desire to have something tangible to chain you to him had made him from going through with it.
Now, he wondered if he’d made a mistake.
Something in you had changed. You’d always been guarded around Chuuya, unwilling to relinquish yourself to him entirely no matter what he did. But for the last two months you seemed colder, harder, as though the birth of your child had forced something between you, a new chasm that he couldn’t simply leap across.
I pushed her too far, Chuuya thought angrily. I shouldn’t have - no kid is worth this. She hates me, [Y/N] hates me, she hates me for being just like those rat bastard humans I swore to protect her from.
And now it was too late. He’d returned home from a fight to find you gone, the seals he’d placed around your quarters broken. He’d slaughtered the guards in a fit of rage, but that hadn’t brought you back. You were gone, having escaped the Demon Realm entirely. It was only by accident that Akutagawa had picked up your trail on his way back from the human world, saving Chuuya hours of precious time.
But he couldn’t rest until he had you back in his arms.
Chuuya came to a crossroads halfway down the mountain, a human city visible through the trees. A very familiar city, built on the bones of your human home. He gritted his teeth, blood roaring in his ears.
I’ll kill them, he thought, fists clenched. I’ll kill all of them, every man, woman and child that stands between me and my family. I’ll rain hell on these fuckers; I’ll rip them to pieces and scatter their scraps all over the Demon Realm.
A figure appeared along the path before him, distracting him from his murderous thoughts. They walked towards him, a bundle dangling by their side.
Chuuya started with relief. It was you.
“[Y/N]!” he called, before belatedly realizing that he should have ambushed you instead. He hurried towards you, summoning his power to bind you before you could escape.
“Chuuya.” You stopped in your but didn’t otherwise retreat. An odd smell permeated the air, the sharp metallic tang of blood. With another start, Chuuya realized that your clothes and the bundle you held were stained with blood.
“[Y/N],” he said hoarsely, “What is that? What did you do? Where is our kid?”
“Relax.” You came closer to reveal another bundle in other arm, smaller and visibly squirming. “I didn’t kill our child. She’s safe.”
“I-” Chuuya looked down at the baby, glancing her over quickly before turning back to you with suspicion. “What the hell, [Y/N], what were you thinking? Where did you go? Why did you run away from me?”
“I wanted our child to meet my parents.”
“Your parents-”
“-are dead, I know,” you interrupted. “I took her to their graves, or what’s left of them.”
“Right.” Chuuya exhaled, running his hands through his hair. A million thoughts were running through his head, but the chief amongst them the fact that he needed to get you to safety. You couldn’t outrun him point-blank, but he could hardly bind your limbs without risking hurting the baby.
“Chuuya,” you said, cutting through the jumble of his thoughts. “I’m fine. The baby is fine. You don’t need to worry.”
“Like hell I don’t!” he snapped. “You can’t do this again, [Y/N]. Not to me, and not to our kid! You know just how dangerous the Demon Realm is - you can’t just walk out like that!”
“I wasn’t asking for permission, Chuuya.” Once again, your tone was gentle but firm, a far cry from your usual behaviour. “I’m your wife, I can handle myself.”
And you threw the bloody bundle at his feet.
Chuuya stared as the object rolled to a stop. It was a head, a demon’s head wrapped up in cloth. “What is this, [Y/N]?” he said, eyes widening. “Where did you get this? Did - did he kidnap you? Did he hurt you?”
You laughed. “No one kidnapped me. I broke out myself. I told you, I wanted to take our baby to my parents’ graves. This guy-” you gestured at the decapitated head- “was hanging around the place. He tried to attack me, so I killed him.”
“You-” Chuuya looked at from your child to the head, then back at you, mind whirling with panic. You’d escaped on your own. You’d killed on your own. That meant that you were strong enough to counter his power, strong enough to withstand him.
He couldn’t keep you safe by force any more.
“Chuuya.” Gently, you put a hand on his cheek. Chuuya started at your touch, and gripped your hand tightly.
“Don’t leave me, [Y/N],” he said hoarsely. “Please. Look, I know I haven’t been the best of husbands, but I swear I love you. But you can’t leave me. I won’t let you.”
“I’m not going to,” you said. “You may not have noticed, but I was coming back to you.”
He blinked. “What?”
“The graves are down there.” You gestured down the mountain. “Why do you think I’d be coming up the mountain?”
Chuuya opened his mouth, then paused, taking in the scene again. “So... you weren’t running away?” he said cautiously. “You really were gonna come home?”
“Of course. Where else would I go?”
“Literally anywhere else?” He looked away, rubbing his forehead. “I know you hate me for forcing you to have our kid. And for kidnapping you. And - well, a lot of things.”
You laughed again, but this time with genuine warmth. “I did think about it,” you said, snuggling your child. “But when I got here I realized I didn’t want to. My home is with you.”
Warmth bloomed in Chuuya’s heart. “Really?” he said eagerly. “You really mean that, [Y/N]? Don’t lie to me.”
“I’m not lying.” A tinge of wistfulness entered your eyes, a momentary sadness that you quickly shook away. “I don’t want to live in isolation any more, but I don’t want want to leave. I don’t have any other family, do I? You’re all that I have left. You our child are... my whole world now.”
“Hell yeah,” he muttered, pulling you into a hug. “You’re my world too, [Y/N], both of you. Don’t ever forget that.”
You chuckled softly, resting your head upon his shoulder. Chuuya knew that you were giving in rather than accepting him, but felt relieved nevertheless. He still had you. You hadn’t abandoned him. You could have taken your child and left, but you’d chosen to return.
You were willing to stay by his side.
Things would have to be different now, of course. He couldn’t restrain you now, not when it seemed like you’d finally reached your limit. Nevertheless he couldn’t stop a grin from creeping onto his face as gazed upon the decapitated head. A true mother Bear, he thought proudly. My wife, the mother of my child. Demons and humans be damned, we’re going to be together forever.
[A.N.: I thought about breaking the darling's mind entirely, but decided against it because it'd be too depressing to think about. Also, lets be honest, Chuuya is gorgeous. He'd genuinely be the best boyfriend/husband/father anyone could ever ask for so, and I it'd be genuinely easy to fall in love with him. You were three months along before you realized you were pregnant.
It had been easy to ignore the signs in the beginning. Time moved strangely in the demon world, and it wasn’t the first time you’d missed your period since you’d gotten there. You’d assumed that the rest of it - the exhaustion, the mood swings, even the changes in your body - was due to whatever otherworldly food and drink Chuuya gave you, to say nothing of the effects of living in proximity of the Demon King himself.
It wasn’t until Chuuya had pointed out the slight swell of your stomach that the horrifying realization had dawned upon you.
You would have gotten rid of it had you any means to do so. But Chuuya had figured it out just as soon as you had, and had locked you down even more stringently than before. Gone were all the little freedoms he’d granted you over time; he refused to let you out of his sight, insisting on taking care of you himself. He practically forced you into bed-rest, waiting upon you hand and foot so that you wouldn’t stress yourself out. It would have been nice, were it not for the fact that you were carrying Chuuya’s child.
The Demon King’s child.
A demon itself, taking root inside you.
It made you want to tear yourself apart with your bare hands. The thing was strong, leeching vitality from you until you could barely walk. You found yourself hungering for raw flesh and fresh blood, wanting to kill and gnaw and bite and tear things apart, until you could see their entrails and their oozing blood. Chuuya indulged you, bringing you wild animals and letting you sate yourself; you hated it, but you hated him even more, for putting you into this position.
Not that Chuuya seemed to mind. From the moment your pregnancy had been confirmed, the red-headed demon lord had been deliriously happy. He would spend hours resting between your legs with his head on your belly, talking or singing to “the baby”. He would patiently bare your tantrums, all the crying and screaming and general hysteria, even letting you vent your frustrations by throwing things at him. It was only when you tried to hurt yourself did he tie you down, claiming that your safety was more important.
“I don’t want to do this, love,” he said, stroking your hair. “But you’ve got to take it easy. All this stress isn’t good for either of you.”
“Chuuya, I’m begging you, please, end it,” you said, tears pouring down your face. “This pregnancy will kill me, I know it will. I can’t carry a demon child, please.”
Chuuya frowned, tracing a thumb over your cheek. “You’ll carry the baby all right,” he said. “This isn’t the first time a human’s carried a demon child. And you’ve drunk enough of my blood to be part-demon yourself, so this ain’t that big a deal.”
“I don’t care.” You tugged at your restraints, cursing yourself and your miserable life. How had you ended up like this? What had you done to deserve any of this? Why was this happening to you, of all people? Weren’t there worse people in the world, who deserved to suffer more?
You flinched as Chuuya kissed your temple, before settling on his haunches before you and putting his hands on the swell of your belly. “I can sense them, you know,” he said. “They’re a strong one.”
“I know,” you said through gritted teeth. “I’ve never been this uncomfortable in my entire life. I’m nauseous, my body hurts, and my bladder feels l-” you scowled as Chuuya grinned- “why are you laughing?”
“Because you’re pregnant.”
You flinched as he swooped down to hug you tightly. “You don’t know what it’s like,” he said happily, gazing at you with contentment. “Demons don’t really get pregnant; it’s something to do with the way our bodies work. I never thought I would have a family, I never thought I’d ever have someone like you. I love you, I love you so much, you’ve given me - you’re giving me - everything that I’ve ever wanted.”
“And you don’t care if I die in the process,” you whispered.
His expression momentarily soured, before he mulishly shook his head. “That ain’t gonna happen. I told ya, there are ways to make sure this whole thing goes well.” He put a hand on your stomach again, gently tracing its curved with one blackened claw. “You’re not gonna like it, it’s going to be a bit uncomfortable, but I swear to you that you’re both going to come out of this alive. I promise you, on my honor as the Demon King.”
