Bath Bomb Review!
So Iāve decided to do a bath bomb review because Iāve used so many this winter and they are expensive so itās good to know what you are buying and also so I can keep track of themā¦.
From Lush-
Space Girl: I was so excited to use this one and ended up disappointed because it dissolved very quickly and wasnāt that interesting to look at. The water turned purple with some glitter and was kind of pretty when everything was said and done, but I didnāt experience any of the popping candies that this bomb is known for. Also, the scent was not very strong.
Dragonās Egg: This was the first Lush bath bomb I used and it is my favorite. It was really pretty and made the tub look the a sparkly orange creamsicle. It had a nice citrus smell. The only flaw is that it left some glitter in the tub, but it easily rinsed down the drain once I turned the water on.
Blackberry: This was another fast fizzer. I was not a fan of the strong berry scent. I would not buy this one again.
Pink: This one smelled really nicely of vanilla. It made the water pink with some heart confetti. The confetti washed right down the drain. I would recommend this one, I wanted to stay in the tub for a long time. It is also one of the least expensive Lush bath bombs ($4.95ā¦still expensive for one bath :/).
Fizzbanger: I loved this one!! First it turns the water yellow, then swirls of blue, which end up changing the water to a neon green and that was FUN. I also loved loved loved this scent. It was kind of spicy and slightly more masculine than the other ones I have tried.
I also got the Granny Takes a Dip one for a gift, but I havenāt used it yet. It looks super cool.
Another brand that I have tried and really like is Hugo Naturals. They sell these at Whole Foods and when I bought them they were $3.99, which is cheaper than Lush. These bath bombs smell really nice (better than most lush ones). If you put them under running water they create bubbles. They take awhile to dissolve, so prepare for a long bath. I feel like you could cut them and use them for more than one bath. The scents I have tried are creamy coconut, grapefruit orange, and sea fennel and passionflower. I think the sea fennel passionflower was my favorite, but they all smell really nice and really natural. The Lush ones are certainly more flashy and colorful, but the Hugo Naturals ones are equally as nice.
