AHH OK SORRY THIS TOOK SO LONG AND IT'S SO SHORT I HAVEN'T HAD MOTIVATION TO WRITE💔💔

Connor comes home from practice, setting his gear bag down in the hallway, a delicious smell filling his senses.
Hope is in the kitchen, cooking Connor's favorite food —steak— he comes up behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist, resting his head on her shoulder "mmm.. that smells so good, baby.." he mumbles into her ear before nuzzling into her neck.
She giggles softly "Connor stop that.." she says, moving her neck away slightly. He groans, pulling her closer, keeping her pressed against him "but I wanna be with youuu" he whines, kissing her neck.
She sighs, setting down her cooking utensil, turning to look at him. He smirks, hands finding her hips "come on.. give me love, Hope." He says, giving her puppy eyes. "No, Con. I'm trying to cook. I love you but you need to wait. I'm literally almost done.."
He scoffs, pouting slightly "ok, there was no need for attitude." He says, a teasing tone to his voice, knowing she wasn't giving attitude.
She rolls her eyes, going back to cooking. Nearly 10 minutes later she's done cooking, everything plated "Connor! Food's ready!" As soon as she shouts that she hears him running from the bedroom where he was playing video games "FINALLY!" he yells.
She laughed, playfully rolling her eyes "just take your food.." he let out a soft hum, kissing her cheek "gonna be the best meal I've ever eaten.." she raises an eyebrow, holding back a laugh "you're ridiculous."
He just shrugs, taking both of their plates to the table "you still love me though.."
After they've finished eating they sit on the couch, Hope curled into him, her head against his chest as they watch a movie. He holds her close, yawning, exhausted from his day.
And like that, they fall asleep. Not a care in the word for anything but each other, and they wouldn't have it any other way.
