❥ one shot: taking care of sick joseph

Joseph honestly is one of the most dramatic hunters, and this is only more prevalent when he’s sick. Even if he only had a cold, he’d constantly whine about feeling feverish and faint and drape himself over a chair or couch or any nearby furniture. 

Aside from this though, it was painfully obvious that he just seriously did not feel well one day, he had mentioned his stomach bothering him one morning as well as feeling much too tired despite making sure he had gotten his 12 hours of beauty sleep (a man’s gotta look his best you know!). 

He hardly made a sound as you had made your way over to his side, placing your hand on his forehead. He was actually burning up! It was no wonder he hadn’t left the bed whatsoever or complained when you had gotten up to get dressed before. 

He had just about no energy and this was definitely not Joseph just trying to get away with you pampering him all day because he had a cold or anything. 

 “...” 

He was so quiet save for his heavier breathing. You were very concerned as you got the thermometer to take his temperature. It didn’t seem to matter much though, considering he was definitely warmer than what he should’ve been.

“...your hand feels very cool....please do not remove it again...” he asked, albeit with some trouble since the thermometer was currently in his mouth. 

Nevertheless, you left your hand on his forehead and pushed the stray hair to the sides. He smiled ever so slightly, he really did not feel well, but having you there was definitely making it just that much more bearable.

And just as you suspected, he definitely had a fever, and the way he placed a hand over his abdomen with a pained expression lead you to believe he had caught some sort of bug. 

It was still winter after all...maybe it would be a good idea to knit a scarf for Joseph or something.... 

 “....hn...” the soft groan brought you from your thoughts. It hurt to see the one you loved so much in such pain.. 

 “You don’t have to worry-“ you started. “-I’ll make sure you feel better quicker than you can snap a photo!” 

That joke was corny enough to get a small chuckle out of the photographer. Don’t tell anyone though, he’d only deny it. Though the short bit of laughter quickly died down as Joseph’s face twisted slightly at the pain in his abdomen. The smile on your face turned back into worry as well.

“Would you like me to go get Miss Emily? I’m sure she’d know what to do...” It wasn’t uncommon for Emily to be asked over to the Hunter Manor at the request of whomever was sick after all. 

The taller seemed to think for a moment before wrapping his arms around your waist. Seems like he didn’t want you to go anywhere....either that or he just want you to take care of him. 

“Haha, alright, I’ll see what I can do for you then.” You told him. It was sweet to see him all clingy like this, even though he was feeling terrible. “Though you will have to let go so I can bring some things in here.”

Joseph was hesitant, but released your waist, looking up at you for a moment before pouting and turning away. You could only laugh softly, the photographer would try to act all serious and be seen as this scary and powerful hunter all the while he would whine and pout if something didn’t go his way. 

Honestly...how on earth was he the one who watched over Robbie and did most of the cooking? That’s a story for another day.

Once freed from his grip, you gave his head a pat before heading off to the kitchen. Joseph’s stomach seemed to be the center of the problem here, so he most likely wouldn’t want to eat much, but he did need to stay hydrated.

 “Hm...some tea should be alright for him..” you mused aloud as you walked about the kitchen looking for a kettle. It didn’t take very long for you to find it and actually make the drink though, quickly pouring it into a mug and turning off the stove before making your way back to Joseph. 

He remained in his bed, no longer pouting; though whether it was because he had gotten bored or was just too physically tired to keep the act up, you had no idea. He seemed to brighten up a little once his eyes laid on you though. He definitely knew he was in good hands. 

You handed the cup over to him before placing a hand on his forehead again. “...still really hot...” 

“Why thank you mon chérie, but please keep in mind that I am still very sick. I felt much too nauseous for my own good right after you left!” 

 “...” 

 Yeah maybe it was better when he didn’t have the energy to poke at you like this... 

Kidding, you were relieved to see even the slightest improvement, even if it was a bit of a farce. He still looked like hell and most definitely felt like it. 

 “You know what I meant!” You told him, rolling your eyes while a smile played at your lips. A small chuckle escaped him as he took a few sips of tea. 

“Jokes aside, thank you mon chérie, you truly are too wonderful~” His words were genuine and soft, and they made you incredibly happy. You still wanted an actual doctor to take a look at him, but for now, you were content with doing your best to take care of him, running your fingers through his hair as he slowly drank his tea, his body practically begging him to go back to sleep. 

He seemed to doze off every now and then, until he finally just couldn’t stay awake any longer. You pressed a kiss to his forehead and fixed the blanket he was currently under. 

 “I promise you’ll feel better soon Joseph..” you whispered, gently touching his cheek before placing the now mostly empty cup of tea on the bedside table. You then made another promise, one that vowed to stay by his side no matter what.

 Joseph seemed to smile softly in his sleep....was he actually sleeping? It didn’t matter, he was just very happy to have someone like you in his life, and he would be sure to thank you for caring for him once he had more energy to.

❥ VAL x time traveler!so bringing them fast food

♡ they’re....amazed, to say the least

♡ assuming the mcnorton’s thing hasn’t happened, these guys have no idea what a hamburger is. if you ever said the word ‘big mac’ out loud, neither of them would know what the heck you’re talking about.

♡ which is why you decide to take matters in your own hands and bring back some fast food from the future

♡ just imagine bringing luca a happy meal. he immediately starts observing the toy and playing with it, almost forgetting the food entirely- especially if it’s one of those puzzle toys, or those little handheld games. if its a small plush, he’d give it to victor.

♡ once you get him to try the food, he’s all excited and raving about how good it is. he’s now going to beg you to bring back mcdonalds more often, look what you’ve done- but since you love him, you don’t mind.

♡ andrew has a lot of questions. why is it a happy meal? does it make you happy? “it’s not working,” he says plainly, which makes you giggle. however, hearing your laugh definitely activated some serotonin in his brain, so he’s like oh...it does work

♡ he thinks mcnuggets are a weird concept and doesn’t trust it, squinting at it the whole time (but you convince him to try it anyways). it’s hilarious watching him eat it

♡ luca is daring enough to try everything, mcrib included. he’s survived prison food (moldy bread) and so much more; a little mystery meat won’t kill him. the rest are more... cautious, but they trust you.

♡ victor does his best to be open minded, no matter how strange the food looks to him, but he ends up enjoying most of it too. especially when you feed him fries and nuggets. his favorite are the burgers, however.

♡ wick is curious about what you’re all eating, even if it’s unfamiliar to him, he’s still a dog and will drool over it. 

♡ date nights will now look like you all sitting together on the couch, eating whatever fast food you brought back from the future. you actually have dedicated nights for trying new foods you bring back, they’re all pretty curious about it- and most of the time, end up enjoying it too.

♡ he calls you handsome and beautiful... eli’s fond of pet names, even if they slightly embarrass him at first (when you use them on him, that is).

♡ eli may be whipped for you, but he has his moments. “hey darling,” he’d grin, trying to catch you off guard. if it works and you get flustered, he feels like a champ- but if you flirt with him straight back, he’s the one who ends up a mess. 

♡ no matter how long you’ve been dating, he still finds himself turning a bit red whenever you do something sweet, or even just thinking of something you said before. he really cherishes the relationship; he feels grateful to have such a loving and kind boyfriend like you.

♡ when it comes to pda, he completely understands if the most you’d do is hold hands under a table. he was never big on pda anyways, so if you’re not a fan either, perfect.

♡ if you were super affectionate, however, he would find it sweet even if overwhelmed at first.

♡ the manor will call you guys ‘lovebirds’, it was inevitable. he loves that.

♡ his gifts to you are so thoughtful. you ever express interest in something ages ago? he remembered, of course, and will surprise you with it. he’ll give you your favorite flowers, too.

♡ he’s the type of guy who saves things from outings with you (ticket stubs, dried flowers, etc.) and keeps photos, and will have some on the wall of his room. 

♡ also, letters- he’s quite good at writing them, and he won’t hold back on his words, making sure you know how much you mean to him and that he loves you.

♡ big spoon or little spoon, he doesn’t mind as long as he’s close to you and can fall asleep either way.

♡ his owl loves you! she’ll hang around you or perch upon your shoulder while you’re with eli, or even on your own. it’s like she's thanking you for being so good to him and taking care of her owner. oh, and you bet he’s going to protect you in matches using brooke, even if his teammates tease about the favoritism.

❥ norton x mike x gn!reader 

✪ i can see mike being the one to initiate romantic stuff more often- not to say he’s the only one trying, just that he has a lot of cute date ideas and loves seeing your reactions to his surprises!

♡ norton is still in disbelief that he ended up with two loving partners, but cherishes you both. people think he’s kind of stoic, or awkward with his feelings, but in reality he can be emotional and tries his hardest to show that he cares.

✪ they absolutely love warm baths with you, especially after a long day. mike will lovingly wash your hair while norton scrubs your back. they enjoy both pampering and being pampered.

♡ on movie nights, either you or mike end up sprawled across the laps of the other two. norton feels bad for crushing you both and would rather be the big spoon anyway, but he’ll occasionally fall asleep on your shoulder.

✪ mike enjoys pda, holding both you and norton’s hands while you walk and lightly swinging them.

♡ if norton is taller than both of you, he’d definitely tease about it. you and mike are so done with him (yet you love him regardless).

✪ mike loves when it’s his turn to sleep in the middle of the bed, sandwiched between you two. norton doesn’t have much of a preference; he’s happy being able to hold someone or be held. whenever it’s your turn to be in the middle, they love to snuggle and hold you until you fall asleep :’)

♡ you can’t have a bad day without the other two finding out and doing their absolute best to comfort and be there for you. norton tends to stay quiet but available, holding you close while mike soothes you with words and affirmations. they refuse to leave you be until they know you feel better, no matter what it takes.

✪ norton’s dinners are amazing and you and mike are always excited when its his turn to cook. to show how grateful you are, you and mike will end up baking together (which usually ends up messy, oops) as norton is a sucker for pastries. he appreciates anything you two make for him, he knows it’s made with love, as corny as that sounds...
