Hi I wanna first say your writing for Abby is amazing <3 been feeling down lately am wondering if you could write how you think last of us characters would react to a reader who sometimes starts crying under stress?

Most of the time, Joel doesn't like being around stressed people because they tend to get violent and irrational, too unpredictable for his liking. But with you, he seems to see glimpses of the old world, people nowadays punch a hole through the wall when they are feeling angry or stressed, but with you, you react with your emotions, thats what makes Joel cherish you, like a dollar bill kept crisply in a bank enveloped, it makes him want to protect you and keep you far from the rest of the world's grasp. When you do cry Joel is immediately there, maybe a bit stiff and awkward for the first few times he held you when you cried but after a while, he would hum softly for you and would likely cradle you to his chest as he does.
Ellie is.... Bit more tricky, see it really depends on the situation, if its an active danger zone, no, absolutely not. Ellie would be furious even it seems harsh, but she would be conditioned into this world without realizing factors like that, she does understand people and their emotions but she will never get emotions that came with the luxury of life before outbreak day. But other times when your alone and not in danger, Ellie will be softer, maybe if your lucky you could even have her hold your hands close to her when she (Rarely) allows you to be the big spoon, even if she gets mad for something she knows you can't control, don't think that Ellie wouldn't be coming back to you with a soft embrace and sincere apology as she let's her nerves calm down.
Dina oh my Dina, she is probably one of the absolute best at this. She loves that you aren't caged off with your emotions or perhaps aren't too trained in controlling them. Either one she loves to be able to experience raw human emotions with someone else, a reminder to her and other people around her that they can still be human. She wound definitely cradle your face in her hands leaving kisses on the stress knots near the top of your forehead, to your headache induced temples. She would start to massage your hands in hers to distract you of the over whelming stress.
Oh boy... Jesse well he tends to find these things really awkward, his mom and him have always been at a bit distance in their lives, he knows he should help comfort you but what would he even say? at one point he just decides to give you a side hug and pets your hair from front to back almost as if he was stroking a cat. Though he does make up for it being breaking you from your stressed state by changing the subject and distracting you, making you laugh as he does before he will always always ALWAYS will tuck your hair behind your ear and or simply rub against the soft skin below your ear near your pulsepoint, feeling your heart go down along with the stress in you.
Hm... Tommy is once again probably one of the best at this, Maria sometimes cried when she was stressed too so the poor man's had some practice under his belt, he would hug you before you even started crying, and in most times with Tommy that's how you know when to finally break down, Tommy isn't good at being open same as his brother, but if you need someone to talk to or vent to, or simply a shoulder to cry on Tommy could always see it coming from a look on your face a mile away. Most of the time he would simply rub the bones of your shoulder blades his comfort rocking almost putting you to sleep everytime.
Yara is differently depending on how long you have known her. Couple of days? She will most likely just look away awkwardly and shuffle about a bit before most likely leaving the room entirely, but if you have known then let's say... A few months? Yara is almost as good as Dina is in this scenario, most of the time with only one arm Yara would allow you to pull her to you instead, when she did have arms she would loop around your arm to place her palms on either side if your right wrist, her head coming to lay down on your shoulder as she does her soft smile telling you it's okay to let it out once and a while, she would tap numbers of 3 on your inner wrist sometimes hitting surface veins as she did. Yara loves to be able to help comfort you as long as it's not her your stressed about, if you were stressed out because of her she would probably just feel absolutely horrible.
Ugh my boy is a bit slow on the social queue's, when he sees your eyes welling with tears of course it concerns him, but instead of chasing off after you Lev would ask Yara or Abby what happened. When he's got a real answer out of one of them he goes to look for you, he knows what it's like to need time to yourself but he also knows the look of someone just needing to be comforted, instead of physical affection Lev tries to do what Jesse does and distracts you by him most likely teaching you to climb over the ceiling beams in the Aquarium's exhibits, hiding from Abby and Yara most of the day up there or sharing a stressful secret from his personal life that ends up just making you appreciate him and his humour even more.
Abby... Well my queen is not really use to people abruptly crying out of no where in front of her, if it were on the field and she doesn't know you well, literally just assume she will most likely choke you out to where you don't alert enemies, (Sorry but I feel like she would give no shits, she don't know ya b) but if she does know you and your in the field the girl will most likely wrap you in her arm and hold your mouth with her hand and softly shushing you before she rocked you back and forth or side to side. Now if Abby doesn't know you and you guys aren't in danger she will most likely shuffle around you and try to leave almost like Yara would, but then she would feel bad right before leaving and would most likely pat your shoulder. Now knowing Abby and not being danger is a complete 180 from the rest of these, girly would most likely press her hands down on your outer biceps before she would look you over bending slightly to where she met your eyes wiping your tears and kissing under your eyes after you do.
