WTF moment for this trip. I was told that there are only 2 jeepney trips to Bontoc everyday. The first jeep passed by at 6:23am fully loaded and did not even stop when I hailed it. So I said that there is no way I can miss the 2nd jeep, otherwise, I will be stuck here for another day and miss my flight. When the second jeep passed, it was again full, but I insisted to ride even if I have to topload (ride at the roof of the jeep!). I have no fear of heights, but I definitely have fear of zero visibility roads. Seriously, how can these conmon carriers exercise extraordinary diligence with these conditions - winding, rough, 60 degrees inclined roads, zero visibility, toploaded passenger? Clearly, it was a case of breach of contract of carriage in the making. But don't worry. I did not topload the whole way and obviously, I am still alive. #liveepic #travel
