Christ Culture

See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame.” 1 Peter 2:6.

How can we Eve-Olve to Zion without the precious cornerstone of Zion (Christ)? How can you be in Zion without being Christ cultured? What does it mean to be Christ Cultured?

Christ Culture – An intimate and authentic relationship with God through Christ with an entirety of actions, thought, words reflecting your identity heavily influenced by the word of God (Source: ZioniteMJB).

To be Christ Cultured is not about religion, it is about YOU and your daily life as a child of God, it is about seeking to be in the same dwelling place with your Father. Christ culture must influence your attitudes, your words, your deeds and your actions.

A Christ Cultured woman is a woman unaffected by social changes brought about by mass innovations. You are more than the social changes around you because Christ is your focus and there are no limitations in Him, so YES you are more than the social changes happening around you. A Christ Cultured woman is constantly Eve-Olving. Zion is the sole-possession of God, it is the spiritual Kingdom where God reigns therefore YOU daughters of Zion who have been bought with a price are the sole possession of God and In Him you must live and have your being. There is a song that comes to mind;

Come, we that love the Lord, And let our joys be known; Join in a song with sweet accord, And thus surround the throne.

· Refrain: We’re marching to Zion, Beautiful, beautiful Zion; We’re marching upward to Zion, The beautiful city of God.

You are marching upwards, you are elevating, you are Eve-Olving and this is only possible with Christ Jesus who is “the author and finisher of your faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, despising the shame and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God” – Hebrews 12:2. YES, this is what Christ did for you and I to enable us build an intimate relationship with God, to be able to refer to yourself as Christ Cultured. An Eve-Olving Woman is Christ Cultured. Your Father in Heaven takes so much pleasure in you as you Eve-Olve to a place where you acknowledge Him in all your ways, a place where He is the sole object of your worship.

CEASE AND DESIST

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

Are you living only for yourself not trusting God? Are you living by your feelings and by standards set by the world as a child of God? If you are then you are violating your principles of your faith and not exercising your authority through Christ hence the cease and desist letter below to remind you of your claim as a child of God (For it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure, Philippians 2:13 ESV).

Dear Eve-Olving Woman,

This will serve as your legal notice pursuant to John 1:12-13 which states that “to all who did receive him, who believed in His name, he gave them the right to become children of God, who were born not of the blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God” to cease and desist all activities regarding your own works.

As a daughter of Zion, you only live for God with the help of the Holy Spirit and Grace, the minute you gave your life to Christ you decided not to live yourself but to live for God (I have been crucified with Christ, it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself up for me).

Christ did the work so that you will rest from your own works, He took away ALL your sins on the cross so that you will live a life of abundance in Him. Your inability to rest from your works, your making decisions and plans for your own life is in violation of Galatians 2:20 which has been stated above.

Christ said in John 10:10 “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it in full”. He did not say He came that you may have some life or half-life, He said, “that you may have an abundant life”. A life of abundance is impossible in the flesh, relying on the arm of flesh is against the principles of your faith and it is taking on works when you are supposed to be resting from your works. You can only live a fulfilled, happy, blessed and abundant life in Christ (You make known to me the path of life; in your presence, there is fullness of Joy; at your right hand are pleasure forevermore, Psalm 16:11).

Daughter of Zion just because you physically live in the world does not mean you should conform to the world (Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect, Roman 12:2 ESV). You cannot take standards set by world, you are to let the world know who you belong to and what you stand for. You are not of your works because you have entered God’s rest where your works do not matter unlike the world where you have do everything by yourself, having confidence in the flesh without the Holy Spirit and Grace. By writing this letter, I am informing you to stop ALL your works and patiently wait for the Lord.

I, ZioniteMjB a representative of Christ reserve the right to continually remind you that *The world will give you standards, laws, rules and regulations but will not give you the grace to live by them*.

There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his. Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience ( Hebrews 4:9-11)

Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For on him God the Father has set his seal. John 6:27 ESV.

As a food lover I am always scouting for new eateries, always craving one meal or the other. Once I have a craving I will do anything to satisfy that craving, people around me know that I am a foodie.

I will drive for long hours, stay in traffic just to satisfy a craving. However, there are two questions that always comes to me in the process of satisfying my craving;

· when will, I have this craving again?

· do I need to get a takeout for whenever I have this craving again?

This questions come to mind because no matter how much I eat to satisfy my craving, I am unable to satisfy my future craving for the same thing. I am only able to satisfy my present craving and that is where it ends. In the event that I have the same craving the next day satisfying today’s craving does not take care of tomorrow’s craving. Also, there is no guarantee whatsoever that satisfying the craving I have today will keep me satisfied for several days to come, No! I still get hungry by the time I wake up the next day. Furthermore, it is impossible to preserve food forever, it perishes at some point.

As Human beings, we require food to survive, our creator acknowledged that we need food to survive (And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food, Genesis 1:29). Food therefore is a necessity of life and because it is a necessity day in and day out we Hunger.

Hunger

· a compelling need or desire for food.

· the painful sensation or state of weakness caused by the need for food

Every day, we have a compelling need or desire for food, when that need is not satisfied it leads to a state of weakness. In the natural body, we always hunger.

In as much we have the image of dust i.e. born of the flesh naturally that is not all there is to us as children of God. Children of God no longer bear the image of dust (Just as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the man of heaven. 1 Corinthians 15:49). The first Adam was a living being just as we are living beings in a natural body. A Child of God however lives beyond the natural and the flesh (Thus the it is written, the first man Adam became a living being and the last Adam became a LIFE-GIVING SPIRIT, 1 Corinthians 15:45). In the natural body, no amount of food brings satisfaction.

Now, imagine having to feed your spirit on physical food as a child of God? We all have different cravings at a given point in time; friends go to the same restaurant but pick different items on the menu because they are satisfying different cravings. There will be no telling which physical food is best for the spirit because the things that bring satisfaction are relative, different cultures have different foods, people have acquired different tastes, it will be impossible to determine the best physical food for one’s spirit.

As children of God because He cares for us (casting all your anxieties on him, because He cares for you, 1 Peter 5:7 ESV), He has provided as with food that can satisfy today’s craving, tomorrow’s craving and future cravings.

John 6:33-35 says;

33 For the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” 34 They said to him, “Sir, give us this bread always.” 35 Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.

The bread of God is a LIFE-GIVING SPIRIT (see 1 Corinthians 15:45), He gives life, He sustains us, there is no HUNGER with that bread. All you need is to HUNGER just Once and you will receive the bread that never perishes, the bread that gives life, the bread that satisfies.

Working for food that perishes is dangerous (Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For on him God the Father has set his seal.” John 6:27 ESV). Esau worked for food that perishes which led to him selling his birth right (Once when Jacob was cooking stew, Esau came in from the field, and he was exhausted. 30 And Esau said to Jacob, “Let me eat some of that red stew, for I am exhausted!” 31 Jacob said, “Sell me your birth right now.” 32 Esau said, “I am about to die; of what use is a birth right to me?” 33 Jacob said, “Swear to me now.” So, he swore to him and sold his birth right to Jacob. 34 Then Jacob gave Esau bread and lentil stew, and he ate and drank and rose and went his way. THE PERFECT MOVE

For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died; and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised. (2 Corinthians 5:14 - 5:15 ESV) In life we have to make so many moves in every aspect of our lives. As kids we want to make the right moves in school, in the exam hall, in choosing friends, in honoring our parents. As teenagers we need to make right moves in school and friendships As Youth making the right moves becomes tougher, by this time you are thinking about career moves, life gets serious as a youth, personal experiences begin to shape who you are. The stability of these experiences cannot be guaranteed because a move cannot be guaranteed as right or wrong. The bottom line is LIFE is made up of so many moves some we are sure of and some we are not so sure of. What kind of life are you looking to live? One that is like a game of chess where your next move is dependent on your opponent's move Or a life where you do not have to worry about your opponents move because there is someone taking care of that? Let me break this down for you fellow Zionites you can choose to live life like you are playing a game of Chess, where you are constantly worried about things happening around you, a life on insecurities, a life plagued with wrong moves because you are leaning on your own understanding OR A life that cannot be compared to any game in this world, a life where you are not competing for attention, a life where there is a supreme being who is so concerned about you that all you need to do is to lift your voice to Him. You do not have to worry about the making the right moves in this life because ONE RIGHT MOVE has been made for you which makes all OTHER moves easier. What is that ONE RIGHT MOVE? " For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit (1 Peter 3:18 ESV)" YES!!! That is the ONE RIGHT MOVE you need to access to make all other moves easier. How does this one move make all other moves easier? The death of Christ separated you from sin, you have inherited the righteousness of Christ making it possible for you to have access to the throne of GRACE through Christ Jesus, before the throne you can lay all your intended moves at His Feet. Christ(THE PERFECT MOVE) is on the right hand of God interceding on your behalf. THE PERFECT MOVE IS AbLE TO PERFECT ALL YOUR MOVES in life. Life is not a game for an Eve-Olving Woman. SCRIPTED

The Lord has made everything for its purpose, even the wicked for the day of trouble. (Proverbs 16:4 ESV). Everybody loves to watch movies or series depending on the genre of movies you like to watch be it action movie, drama, romantic or comedy, horror, etc. We all have a preference. Once you decide to watch a movie you are glued to the tv because you want to know what happens at the end. There is no point in watching a movie or series you are not going to finish, that is a waste of time. Assuming you have the opportunity to sit with the writer of the movie you may be lucky enough to know what happens at the end even before the movie ends. Secondly the writer may not be glued to the tv as you are because He knows the end. Reality shows however claim to be UNSCRIPTED. Reality shows supposedly document real-life situations which features individuals who are not actors. In other words reality tv stars live for the camera without scripts, they do not have to read and master lines, they do not have to bring those lines to life by acting them out, they do not look forward to movie awards such as the Oscars, the Emmys and the likes in Hollywood, The AMVCA in Africa which acknowledges and celebrates contribution made by Pan African filmakers, actors and technicians to the success of the continent's film and television industries, bollywood movie awards, and many more awards given to actors in various countries and continents. A reality tv star does not look forward to these awards because they are just living and saying whatever they please without scripts, no one can tell what is going to happen in the next scene because it is UNSCRIPTED. The distinction drawn here is the same for those who relationally belong to God and those who do not. Although God created all of us in his own image (So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them, Genesis 1:27 ESV), there are those that live like professional actors only going by the SCRIPT of God and those who live as though they are filming a reality show, UNSCRIPTED. God created all of us in His own image but we cannot all claim to be children of God, not all of us relationally belong to Him(But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, John 1:12 ESV). John 1:12 tells us that only those who have repented of sin, placed their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, possess the Holy Spirit can claim Him as their Father. A child of God, a person who belongs to God, a believer lives a SCRIPTED life. You no longer live for yourself and by yourself(I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me, Galatians 2:20 ESV). Professional actors only go by the script, they cannot act out what is not in their script neither can they play a role that is not theirs. Also, depending on how good the movie is they get a nod and possibly win an award. A child of God is like a professional actor. A child of God only lives according to God's plan and what He has purposed(For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 ESV), a child of God does not live the life of another, God does not mix identities(To him the gatekeeper opens. The sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out, John 10:3 ESV). Finally, at the end of it all, when we stand before the king of Kings there are crowns to be received like the professional actor hopes for an award depending on your obedience and performance. These crowns include; • Crown of life - Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. (James 1:12 ESV) • Crown of righteousness- Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that Day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing (2 Timothy 4:8 ESV) • Crown of glory - And when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory. (1 Peter 5:4 ESV) These are only a few crowns I have mentioned, there are more crowns for those who live SCRIPTED lives in Christ. Now those who live UNSCRIPTED lives live as though they are filming a reality show. There is no script to follow, they can assume any role be it a victim or villain between takes, they do not compete with professional actors for awards such as the Oscars. Those who do not relationally belong to God live for themselves, according to their own will, not seeking the will of God. They either set their own standards or live by standards set by the world, there are no crowns for those in the world and rulers of the world(Now is the judgment of this world; now will the ruler of this world be cast out, John 12:31 ESV). How are you living? Are you living a SCRIPTED life or an UNSCRIPTED life. With this insight that you have gained, assess your life and make a wise decision because; “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne. Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. UNDEFEATED

For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world – our faith. (1 John 5:4 ESV). We have all experienced victories in one way or the other be it nailing a job interview to advance our careers or passing an exam to move to on to higher levels in academics. It is so fulfilling to be on the winning side. We never forget our victories and wins, they become a part of our lives, we tell the story of our victories over and over again. To win in life is the goal of many, losing is not option for most of us as we go through life. We want to win in school, we want to win in our careers, we want to win in our marriage, we want to win in our relationships, we simply want to win it all. However one thing I have observed in the world is that winning today is not a guarantee that you will win tomorrow. Your win sometimes becomes a source of motivation for your opponent or competitor who works hard for the next game, battle or fight. People are always working hard with the aim of taking your position or trying to defeat you. What if I told you that there is a kind of victory that can never be taken away from you no matter how hard your opponent works? What if I told you that you can be Undefeated in life? Yes that kind of victory exist ONLY through Christ Jesus(But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 15:57 ESV). There is popular statement made by people "You win some and lose some", a statement which is false for Children of God because we NEVER lose. In the world this statement is likely to be true because human beings have limits, the strength of man is limited hence victory is never guaranteed. However this can never be the case in Christ Jesus in whom there is salvation because In him victory is assured and guaranteed(Put not your trust in princes, in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation, Psalm 146:3 ESV) It's about time Children of God come to the realization that we are UNDEFEATED. Your Challenges are not defeats, they are leading you to Victory; Abraham was not defeated when the Lord asked for his only son Isaac, facing the challenge of sacrificing His son led him to victory. This was what the Lord said to Abraham " “I will surely bless you, and I will surely multiply your offspring as the stars of heaven and as the sand that is on the seashore. And your offspring shall possess the gate of his enemies, and in your offspring shall all the nations of the earth be blessed, because you have obeyed my voice." ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭22:17-18‬ ‭ESV‬‬ Job was tested, His property and children were taken away from Him, satan struck his health but because Job served a living God he was UNDEFEATED " And the Lord restored the fortunes of Job, when he had prayed for his friends. And the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before. (Job 42:10 ESV) The woman with the issue of blood had a challenge but she was UNDEFEATED in Christ "For she said, “If I touch even his garments, I will be made well.” And immediately the flow of blood dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of her disease (Mark 5:28 - 5:29 ESV) Lazarus dead in the tomb for four days was UNDEFEATED because of who He had in his corner " “When he had said these things, he cried out with a loud voice, "Lazarus, come out." The man who had died came out, his hands and feet bound with linen strips, and his face wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, "Unbind him, and let him go."” ‭‭John‬ ‭11:43-44‬ After so many years of Abraham waiting for God to fulfill the promise of being made a father, he faced the challenge of sacrificing his only son Job lost everything The woman with the issue of blood suffered for 12 years Lazarus was dead in the tomb for four days In the world the situations mentioned above will be termed as defeat but not when you serve a living God, the creator of the universe, the eternal self existing one, Yahweh. No matter what the situation looks like you are UNDEFEATED. It is only God who can turn a challenge into a Victory, A test into a testimony and an obstacle into a miracle. The challenges you are facing are meant to bring about a particular result, I can assure you that when God shows up you will be glad you faced those challenges because your victories are PERMANENT in Christ Jesus(But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere. (2 Corinthians 2:14 ESV). In the world you win some and lose some but not Children of God because we are not of the world(If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you, John 15:19 ESV). The things of the world do not apply to us, the standards set by the world do not apply to us, the statements made by the world do not apply to us because WE have OVERCOME the world(I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world, John 16:33 ESV). Do you know what it means to overcome the world? If Christ has overcome the world for you , it simply means that NOTHING in this world has power over you. Unemployment has no power over you, an exam has no power over you, childlessness has no power over you, NOTHING, NOTHING AT ALL has power over you. No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. (1 Corinthians 10:13 ESV). I Corinthians 10:13 stated above simply tells you that you are UNDEFEATED. Allow me to break it down for you No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man - This means that you have the testimonies of people who have been through your situation to keep you pushing God is faithful - Faithful means "to be firm and not changing with your support for a person"(source: dictionary.cambridge.org). If God is firm and not changing with His support for you can you ever be defeated? Bear in mind that He is the creator of the universe He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability- If you are only going to be tempted within your ability then it goes without saying that you can take everything that comes your way But with the temptation He will provide a way of escape - Having an escape means you will soon break free That you may be able to endure - He has given you the strength to go through it all. Can the world do this for you? No! that is why the world will try to make you believe that "you win some and lose some". Next time the world tells you this let it Know that you are UNDEFEATED. Feel free to scream it. When it asks for proof just smile, tell them about Christ and preach 1 Corinthians 10:13 to them. Above The Law

Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God. Who has made us made us sufficient to be ministers of a new covenant not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life – 2 CORINTHIANS:5-6

In one way or the other we have broken laws, rules and regulations be it at home, in school, at work etc. consciously or unconsciously. Sometimes for the fun of it felt good to break the law and other times terrifying thinking about the consequences of your actions. One can say that living above the law in society is terrifying because most countries, communities, schools, societies, states, cities etc. are governed by laws and there are consequences for every law one decides to break.

The world will give you laws, standards, rules and regulations but will not give you the grace to live by them – (Source: ZioniteMJB)

The quoted stated above is the difference between living above the law in the world and living ABOVE THE LAW as a child of GOD, as a Chosen generation, as a Joint Heir with CHRIST.

An Eve-Olving Queen lives ABOVE THE LAW because in Zion there is Grace, In Zion there is Christ who is seated at the right hand of God interceding on your behalf. GRACE is available to you. You did not work for it, You did not pay for it, You do not have to follow some complicated instructions drafted by man to obtain GRACE, NO! There is one man who did the work for YOU and that is CHRIST JESUS. Your sufficiency is through Him. The Law makes you conscious of your sin (Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law, rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin, Romans 3:20). You see Eve-Olving One, in the divine order which moves away from the physical order, there is no law. You are ABOVE THE LAW because you are under a new covenant made possible through YOUR LORD AND PERSONAL SAVIOR, CHRIST JESUS. He took away all your sins and made you complete. The Spirit has taken over therefore you do not have any desires to please man, any desires to please the world.

Living ABOVE THE LAW is not as terrifying as living above the law in the world because THERE ARE NO CONSEQUENCES. You do not have to be conscious of your sins, you are a new creation, you have been made whole.

An Eve-Olving Woman is ABOVE THE LAW.
