Hiii! Can you write about how would look like (from your perspective) Leonās reunion with Sherry but in timeline of RE4R. They need that kind of reunion after all tragedies they went through. Maybe it would heal Leon a little bit? Let us know what do you think about it.
Hi Anon!
This is a very interesting idea. I always thought about how isolated Leon was after he started his government agent recruitment program.
We know from little tidbits here and there in the original lore that Claire kept up a relationship with Sherry, but nothing really specifically mentions about Leon. The only times we see Leon together with Sherry onscreen before RE9 was RE2 (1998) and RE6 (2013). In RE6, Leon recognizes Sherry but the interaction made it feel like they havenāt seen eachother in ages. This makes me think that Leon wouldāve gotten progress updates on Sherry throughout the years in lieu of being allowed to spend time with her (since Simmons wouldāve most likely kept Sherry sheltered so she would be easier to direct).
In terms of your idea that of Leon reuniting with Sherry post RE4R, I do see it as very plausible. I will be breaking it down into five parts:
The Background
After escaping the ruins of Raccoon City and ultimately splitting up with Claire, Leon and Sherry soon find themselves apprehended by the US government. According to the og RE3 epilogue files and supplemented by The Darkside Chronicles, it was explicitly stated that Leon was blackmailed-coerced into working under the government in order to protect Sherry from becoming a human test subject. Although Sherry wouldāve been studied and monitored during the governmentās supervision of her, Leonās compliance wouldāve been why Sherry was treated better than the alternative.
Despite the both of them being under the governmentās control, Leon and Sherryās values to them were very different. Both survived Raccoon City. Both had their life courses redirected because of what they had experienced. Both their futures would be determined by people in positions of power. Both became government assets. However the difference is that Leon was turned into a dispensable weapon, while Sherry was preserved because the G-Virus made her more valuable to keep alive.
The Notoriety
After the events of RE4 (circa Fall, 2004), Leon is no longer just a āRaccoon City Survivorā but rather the man who rescued the Presidentās daughter AND the Leon S Kennedy behind the Kennedy Report. In short, those new feats wouldāve had Leon be recognized for his potentials and had brought him to a higher position. Leon has finally become important enough to ask for something and the āmost powerful man in the United Statesā was the one who asked him what he wanted.
The Favour
Although Leon is a top operative, he still works for the federal government and therefore his salary is set (but supplemented by exclusive benefits). However, in lieu of monetary gains, Leon wouldāve been able to ask for favors - upgraded inclusive benefits (equipment allowance, better housing, ect) and granted vacation(s)/time-off. Despite it feeling like a blank check, it was only a favour within reasonable bounds - Leon wouldāve been painfully aware of this, so asking for his release (or even Sherryās) was off the table.
Although President Graham held what was assumed to be the most powerful position in all of the United States, he also wouldāve had to jump through bureaucratic hoops to make Leonās request happen. I imagine Simmons wouldāve utilized the Familyās underground power to make this as difficult to attain as possible - seeing his initial interaction with Sherry in RE6 made me believe that he mightāve gaslit a pleasant guardian-relationship with her. President Graham wouldāve fought for Leon to have a longer time, but ultimately they had to compromise to a shorter duration (an hour or two at best).
The Reunion
Although Leon and Sherry wouldāve still maintained contact over the years, it is heavily assumed that the degree of contact was kept at a bare minimum since Sherry had been under Simmonsā guardianship. It would be acceptable to assume that every one of their interactions were mediated and monitored, letters probably had to be screened before it made it to the other person. Although they kept in contact, it wouldāve been very superficial because they both had the understanding that they couldnāt share anything of substance. They would ask eachother āHow are you?ā but they would also be painfully aware that the reply back was just a scripted response.
When Leon was informed that the reunion would be happening, he was ecstatic on the inside but also incredibly anxious about how the session would be. Would they meet with a barrier of fortified glass in between? Would they have an audience? And most importantly, would Sherry even want to see him again after being āabandonedā for six years because he was ābusy with workā?
The Reaction
Going with the assumption that the two of them havenāt seen each other in person since 1998, I imagine that the initial reaction would be lacklustre. They both would be almost unrecognizable to each other as both of them had changed physically throughout these years.
Sherry was twelve years old child then, but now sheās eighteen years old - she was taller, healthy, and her eyes now gained the confidence that the twelve years old had lacked back then. Then thereās Leon, whose physique had gotten more filled and toned from the training and fieldwork as an operative - but now his eyes lacked the hopeful sparkle that once belonged to the rookie cop. Although they both knew who the person standing before them was, somehow their minds arenāt quite registering the physical appearance because there they both changed quite significantly. So they just stood in their respective spots and stared at the other person.
Leon is emotional, but heās kept it in control underneath his hardened exterior. Heās learned to regulate his emotional responses, since he had spent years in environments where keeping control was integral to survival. Leon doesnāt rush towards Sherry, nor does he throw his arms around her. He just stands there, as his expression softens with his eyes widen slightly at the sight of her and a tiny disbelieving smile curving slightly at his lips.
But itās Sherry who breaks first. She was separated from Leon shortly after they had escaped Raccoon City. Itās been six years since then, and now she was able to visualize what those six years actually meant. She knew that Leon became a government agent, but now she was able to physically see what that had meant. So when she sees him standing there, trying to maintain his composure despite his eyes giving him away, thatās when she breaks the initial awkwardness - her vision blurs as tears starts to rim around her eyes. Before Leon could mutter anything, she runs to him and hugs him.
And the sudden contact makes Leon freeze, heās forgotten what itās like to be hugged by someone. It took him a few seconds to process everything. This tearful person with their arms tightly wrapped around him was the little girl who had survived the horrors with himā¦this now-adult was Sherry. His arms eventually come around her. He was careful at first, fearing that his new gained strength might crush her but then it tightened as his composure finally cracks.
Leon would cry very quietly, his eyes would become wet as the tears glides down his cheeks in their own controlled manner. He would most likely mutter an apology to Sherry for not visiting her sooner. But Sherry would reply with a āItās okay, I understand.ā despite not really knowing the actual truth: Leonās ultimate sacrifice for a little girl heās had not even a full day of interactions with. Sherry doesnāt know that sheās the reason Leon is still alive and how sheās also the reason why heās still suffering.
They would start by revisiting their memories of what happened in Raccoon City, but they would soon come to the conclusion that they canāt let that night of horrors take away any more from them. They would move on to talk about everything that happened afterwards. Leon wouldāve wanted to be the one to ask Sherry how sheās been, but he remains considerate of their limited time and gives the opportunity to Sherry to ask her questions instead.
Sherry would ask about his training, and Leon would give her the sanitized version. Sherry would ask what heās been up to, but Leon will give her the classified version. All of Leonās responses wouldnāt have been very informative, but Sherry understands that there are questions that could be answered with words and then thereās the questions that could only be responded to with silenceā¦and thatās a knowledge that sheās learned at a very young age with her own parents.
They would talk until they get interrupted and reminded that their time is up. Although it was a shorter reunion than what they had hoped, it was just enough for the both of them to feel relieved after the six years of separation between them.
Sherry came in preparing for the worse and to prepare to meet an absolute stranger in Leonās skin, but instead she reunited with Leon who somehow felt like he was wearing another personās skin. Sheās realized that heās still there, but just buried beneath everything thatās transpired during these six years: Leon is still Leon, still somehow very awkward but still just as caring andā¦pretending that he is fine.
Leon would feel something he hasnāt felt in years: relief. It wasnāt the kind of relief he felt for surviving another impossible encounter, but rather the relief that someone else -Sherry- was surviving and somehow doing better than what he had dreaded: somehow she was thriving? She was brighter than before, healthier with a flush on her face and a wider smile on her lips. She reminded him of Claire, with the confidence in her eyes and how she still remained resilient despite having already gone through so much.
I donāt see their āgoodbyeā being sad, instead I think it would be simple but just as impactful. Leon would probably try to keep a cool image and tell Sherry āDonāt get yourself into any trouble.ā and Sherry would probably reply with āYou should try to have funnier jokes ready for me the next time you visit.ā Then, they would share a smile before having to part ways again wondering when will be the best time they could actually see each other againā¦and how much of Leon (if any) would be left by then?
Miss Reader commits tax fraud. Why? Well if she canāt be fvcking her husband because the government is sending him on fvcking missions all the damn fvcking time, then she might as well fvck the government over during tax season.
Except the FBI was most likely monitoring her internet use and alerted Leon that his wife might be up to somethingā¦
i need my fictional man buried in me to the hilt and grinding down into me with his full weight, desperate to get even deeper, panting my name and kissing me open-mouthed like itās the only thing keeping him alive
Apparently men walk around naked in the shower/locker rooms (according to what some guys told me). Combining this with my headcanon that Leon has an incredibly beautiful dick āŗļøā¦
Do we think he got compliments from the other soldiers during the military training period?
āNice dick, Kennedy.ā
I just know Krauser most definitely had teased him about it. If he called Leonās eyes āpretty bluesā then what did he call his dick??? š

the great thing about tumblr is that you can meet people you'll vibe with on a level you have never vibed with anyone before and the tragedy about tumblr is that they almost certainly will live in another country
