Is anyone else the daughter of two immigrants and are an immigrant your self and the only sense of culture your parents passed onto you is the one from the country you fled whereas everyone around you is submerged in the country-you’re-currently-in’s culture and you’ve only been in it at surface level but as you get older you start getting more into it and you feel like you’re behind everyone?
