I like watching youtubers reacting to shows cause sometimes it reminds me of things i had forgotten. Example: Klaus wanted and was going to kill Lucien in epi 3 of season 3. Which honestly was the smartest move and would have prevented like 70% of the bad things that happened to the Mikaelsons. BUT. Someone didnt learn her lesson and was obsessed with Klaus not killing people. Camille didnt learnt her lesson with Mikael so she goes "oh, but he was in jail he couldnt kill that guy, you dont have to kill him" and then while Klaus is going to kill him anayway, Mr I take the wrong decision at the most pivotal times Mikaelson (Elijah), tells Klaus "if you ever want a reconciliation with me you will not kill Lucien". And so Klaus doesnt. And everything he could have stopped right there, happens: -Lucien mentions Camille a couple of times to annoy Klaus and trigger Aurora -Aurora goes for Camille -Klaus says the most evil heart breaking shit to Aurora and gets payback of dead Vampire Camille. -Camille is an ass newborn and steals the wood soldier -Aurora makes the bullets -Elijah almost dies -Freya almost dies -Lucian was in deals with the ancestors -Lucian becomes a super vamp/hybrid. -Finn dies -Lucien hears Aurora say she doesnt care for him so he goes for Camille -Camille dies -Hayley almost dies by Lucien -Elijah and Freya sacrifice Davina to cancel the uber hybrid Lucien -Marcel gets mad and uber vamps/hybrids too -Marcel almost kills them all.
like...if Klaus had stopped him the biggest issue would have been Klaus being mad about Rebekah and Aurora being mad about Tristan, but all the other stuff could have been preventable. team let Klaus Mikaelson judgement about killing his enemies or letting them alive be his own decision. He hasnt killed Davina tho he probably should have. He hasnt killed Marcel tho he should have. but Lucien was the one he was like nah, he has to die, and people stop him. Last time that happened he only survived cause Kol forced Davina to make a spell to take the power from the white oak stake Also for everyone always blaming Klaus for everything that happens...he tries to fix things from day 2, but...so no more blaming him. He is always getting blamed by others people's mistakes, ideas and actions
