Five years ago, I researched the office number for the Late Show with David Letterman, I was fresh out of college with a dream of working as a monologue writer (I know, I have the tiniest ambitions ever.) Thinking I would be hung up on or shouted at in the thickest New York accent, I dialed the number and waited for the worse. Instead of stomping on my heart, I was given step-by-step instructions of how to submit my Top Ten list to the iconic show. Even though I never heard back, I will always remember my heart shaking behind my ribs and encouragement the folks at the Late Show gave to me. It's been five years but that moment felt like yesterday. Thank you for the inspiration. Thank you for the kindness. Thank you for the laughter. #ThanksDave

I'm currently working on a spec script and applying for jobs (it takes forever to find ones that I passionately care about) so I have been neglecting this blog. I miss writing jokes. I'll try to make time for my monologue this weekend. Wish me luck on my job search 😁 so I can write again. Or better yet get a job as a writer so I can live in my free time. 😂

I truly have been carrying this Roberto Cavalli ad in my wallet since I was in Grade 8 (a few years ago… almost 15 years actually.)

I don’t want to put the horse before the absolutely gorgeous cart. So stay tuned because this year will be the year I’ll be pitching my bum-bum off.

I’ve worked on a few spec scripts and my very own pilot. I’m going to finish my series bible by the spring and hopefully finish writing the entire first season as well. I will track my progress here. I look forward to sharing my journey and more super late/early tweets with you guys.
