iggipicaday is moving

Dear friends,

Thank you for your likes and follows over the years.

It's obvious that I have been inactive on here for quite some time, and I suppose in my heart I was holding out hope that I would just get back to it one day at the same daily pace that I once did. However, for my own peace of mind, and given the things that have been going on in my life lately, I have decided to draw a line under iggipicaday. It's had a GREAT run - I'm honestly proud that between the dates of 30th August 2014 and 31st May 2018 I really did do something arty every day of my life.

I will continue doing art, but at a more relaxed pace where I no longer have any expectations or quotas for myself. I won't be posting on Tumblr again, although I'm not deleting this account or anything, so feel free to browse through the back catalogue at your leisure.

Because there is SO MUCH art, it's become really unwieldy, nigh on impossible to organise and navigate, which honestly just contributes to my stress levels. It has become more important to me to make viewing my art a more user-friendly experience.

For one, I have started a Facebook business page, where I can share my art and interact with the people that like it. Please check it out, and do like and follow so you can see my future stuff!

Art done between May 2018 and August 2018, which I never posted because it was part of a commission, which was kind of secret at the time, and which in any case I can’t share the final version of because these all eventually became the new Empire LARP Bourse notes. In the interest of nobody being able to essentially print their own money, the full bourse notes will never actually be shared, but here are some aspects of the notes when they were in progress, all at greatly reduced size and quality.

I haven’t been doing a picture a day for quiiiiiiite some time, and whilst I’m not sure I can go back to that sort of pace right now, the aim is certainly to get back to doing SOME art at least. Furthermore, I HAVE done some art. ALREADY I have done more art than last year and I’m going to post it up to prove it!
