Nui would sneak up to the gym leader from behind to tap her shoulder, then follow up with a one-armed hug just because, plus she’s also hugging her own Banette.

"...?!" turning to see who tapped her but before she could speak the only thing that came out her mouth was a small grunt as she noted Nui and something else she didn't have the chance to register

"Oh Nui, good to see you back so soon and you brought..." examining "Oh, a Banette! That's a cool pokemon, did you just catch em?"

(Noting i never made a Head canon page i should probably list what Flannery goes along here)

Flannery only knows Pokemon fully up to Hoenn (So Gen 1-3) and parts of Sinnoh. So she will be unfamiliar with later techniques and fairy types.

Flannery’s Uncle is Kabu and references to him alot when she comments about a family trade.

My Flannery follows the actions of the anime and manga logic so her detailing of things might be more...extreme at times.
