ㅤꨄ︎ Rook quite literally lives to serve you. Your validation is what keeps it going, she doesn't mean to be dramatic or anything, but if she didn't have your attention she hardly sees a point in living. You're everything to it, how is she supposed to live without everything? Please, tell her you love her. If you won't tell it that, at least tell her she's a useful tool. Tell her she's doing a good job. Tell her it's worth it. Please. She doesn't have anything else. If you won't even do that, just look it's way. Please. She'll take anything.
ㅤꨄ︎ It's more than likely that Cecelia and Rook just don't know each other if there's even a slim possibility of Rook wanting you. Of course, that is, unless you two knew each other prior to being contestants on Bet and Forgive. It's clear she was already attached to Cecelia after preliminaries. If you knew her before though, if she was loyal to you before meeting her, Cecelia isn't even a person in her mind. No, it's just you. You're her lord/lady, nevermind anyone else.
ㅤꨄ︎ Even if you tell Rook it's fine, that she doesn't have to serve you, that all you want is to love her, she still struggles to keep herself 'normal'. She just wants you to be happy, to be taken care of! Is that truly so much to ask? All it wants is for you to stay, so she'll do anything to keep you by her side, even if that was already the plan. She loves you. Only you. You're more than likely the only person she'll ever love. Being normal isn't exactly her speed either way so you may be stuck with her acting like your personal court fool for at least the few months into dating her.
ㅤꨄ︎ Rook has a super strong sense of justice. While you being a good person most certainly isn't required (hell, look at her and Cecelia in canon), it would definitely put her at ease. Knowing she's so enamored with someone who's as lovely on the inside as the outside would bring it some comfort. She's more worried about you thinking she's a terrible person for what she's done. If you get her at just the right moment, she might tell you the why she did it though.
ㅤꨄ︎ If you're not such a good person, it would face a lot more inner turmoil about it. Of course, she loves you. She loves you more than anything else in the world, but it's absolutely agonizing having to battle her own moral compass just to serve you. She'd still do it--without a second thought, in fact. It's just one of those things that keeps her up late at night. She'd never plague your amazing mind with her concerns! That is... unless it was in a super tense life or death moment. If you shut her down then, though? She'll fold immediately, she can't risk upsetting you.
ㅤꨄ︎ She quite likes chess, and she'd love more than anything to play with you. If you do play, you always win. See, while Rook is quite the strategist, you're even smarter! And by that, I mean any time she starts to win, she'll 'accidentally' slip up, and all of a sudden you have her in a checkmate. You deserve the win far more than her anyways! And she can't be better than her lord/lady at anything. Then you might change your mind about it. She absolutely cannot let anything like that happen.
ㅤꨄ︎ Rook is a big fan of tea, and knows how to prepare all kinds of different blends. Certain blends make her think of you, in some strange way. Rosehip tea tastes something like your lips, cinnamon-spice reminds it of your smile, lavender tea is similar to the way it feels when it thinks of you... Sometimes she'll prepare those specific types of tea for you. If you don't like tea, she may be a tad bit disappointed, but she'll cover it up and find something you do like!
