People Dream. Potterheads Maraud.
I always wondered if any of the marauders knew about The Room of Requirement. Imagine the horrors and delights...
Lupin being brought in the Room during full moon time. When the ‘Moony’ phase passes, they all build forts and fires and eat snuck-out delicacies from the kitchen.
James finding the Ravenclaw tiara and insisting Sirius to wear it for a photo sesh. Peter being ‘overly dramatic’ about sensing dangerous vibes around it.
Marauders fighting outside in the corridor to decide who will find the door this time. The hammocks always turn up shockingly purple when James and Sirius think about the Room entrance.
Debating whether Lily should be included in the secret. Lupin’s disagreement outvoted by 3 to 1.
Peter put on the job of tailing Snape to detect if he is stalking Lily. The mouse droppings irritate Snape to no end.
PS (written on the map) - The magical parchment used to manufacture The Marauders’ Map was invented in The Room of Requirement.
Christ-i am a-mess
Putting up Christmas lights is a tough job. So tough that it’s okay to shed some tears after it’s done. It will remind you of every kind of emotion known to humans.
It’s ironic because you don’t want to do it but at the same time, you don’t want anyone else to do it, cause you know they gonna ruin it.
Self-confidence takes a real hit when you can’t untangle 400 feet of wires and LEDs jam-packed like Times Square on New Year.
Eye-rolls and ridicule by observers are showered liberally. Sing ‘Shake it Off’ to drown them out.
And after some nearly-missed electrocutions, you finally see your work. And it turns out to be so painfully beautiful that you feel giddy and sad at the same time.
And a week later, you have to take it down, no matter how amazing it looks. Cause if you don’t, you won’t hear (or read) the end of it from your mother. Ever.
But it is all worth it. Those who agree, please do share your Christmas decorations for a repost.
Merry Pre-Christmas!
