“It’s been a weird road. Genuinely, I really did have to sort of unlearn myself and learn myself again in the last two years. Which is weird because you recognize me in this album, the same me that you have met and known. But I think it’s because I sort of really did lose it for a second. It’s a very very easy thing to get swallowed up in and to lose sight of yourself in. Especially when I have to remain certain of my reality, while others are trying to distort it, and that was the trickiest thing to do. Which is why I took my time, and which is why I kind of went away for a second and did it. But I’m just so grateful, I’m so lucky I get to do what I love.”

i adore her
On account of the first show of tour getting cancelled because of a hurricane, here's a Tornado Warnings moodboard, because Sabrina is no longer ignoring them.
Okay guys, here's a theory. I was watching the Because I Liked A Boy music video, and noticed something.
When you look at this outfit, from far away, if you don't pay too much attention, it looks like a dress. But look a couple seconds longer, and you'll notice this 'dress' is actually a corset, and a long piece of lose fabric has been wrapped around her waist in a style that makes it look like a dress with side cutouts.
I might be reading too much into it, but doesn't this seem like a layered metaphor? The setting of the mv is a circus, and the entire concept of circuses is to fool you into seeing things that aren't actually there. We all know the song is about a stupid situation which people really knew nothing about but made it seem like they did. It's possible that Sabrina is trying to send the message that there was more to it than met the eye. (And honestly, it's brilliant.) There might also be an implication about the 'I'm a homewrecker, I'm a slut,' lyric with this outfit but I can't find the right way to word it at the moment.

Is she back in the studio? Already?
"YOU DON'T FEEL REMORSE, YOU DON'T FEEL THE EFFECTS 'CAUSE YOU DON'T THINK YOU HURT ME IF YOU WISH ME THE BEST I SHOULD'VE KNOWN ALL ALONG, I WAS ONLY THE NEXT ONE TO TAKE YOUR LOVE SONGS AS A PROMISE" is going to be my personality for the next few days and I'm NOT sorry.
I started writing emails to myself in the beginning of quarantine as a way of kind of not going insane. And I realized the type of venting emails that you write out but never plan on sending are the most authentic, real part of your brain that you can capture in that moment, because you’re not worried about how people are going to hear it or how they’re going to perceive you after they hear it… So, basically, the songs that I’ve been writing for the last year have come from the starts of those emails.
