Help changing default swatch
I’m doing some eyes and I want to change the default swatches to match the rest of the set, but the replacements just aren’t showing up. I’ve done everything I’m supposed to do (I think--I’m a bit rusty), anyone have any clue why it isn’t working?
Beep-boop. Haven’t touched sims in ages. Started poking around with some of my billions of unfinished things. Also, new sliders is FUN.
If I get back into it, I might make a new blog (with a better name), sorry if my links are down. Currently don’t have the spoons to fix. Hope you’re all doing well.
I opened Bodyshop today, and noticed lots of things I want to change about my skinblend. I WILL NEVER BE DONE. And the psd’s are so messy. Ugh. Past-me, whyyyy?
So, summer is pretty much gone and I am still absent. Whaaaat. Well, see, I am now employed. Yay, nay? Well, time will tell, my fellow simmers. Currently a bit of both--less time for things that I enjoy (but hey, being depressed also made that true so the difference is slim), but at least I am no longer useless in the eyes of the masses! Hooray.
So this sim file share thingy seems cool? Cool things always happen when one is absent, as everyone knows.
I’m missing sims, but currently busy with other stuff (I’VE PAINTED LOTS OF ROOMS! Only took me about three years to get around to it), but soon, little pixels, soon.

Aww, thanks for the message (both of them!). I'm alright :) Got a medicine that left me sleeping for about two weeks (quite literally!), but now I'm just enjoying the sun while it lasts! Kind of itching to get back into game soon, though. :P

Argh! I hope he actually has a diagnosis and treatment instead of the old: "Well, it's not this, so try this and come back for more tests!"
Ah yes, there is a diagnosis (two, actually!), and they have been confirmed by three psychiatrists on two separate occasions, so I’m not too worried about that. What the psychiatrist said on the last meeting is that he wants me to do an assessment for autism and/or ADHD before treating the depression and social anxiety as they could be caused by that, so there will be some case of what you described, but I’m already aware of it at least!
ugh I wanna do stuff but mood (LIKE I have so little left to do on the skinblend and I had a bit of energy earlier this week, but I was sensible and used it on cleaning. Which was good, but I want infinites!). ALSO stupid doctor is sick so the meeting where I find out what will actually happen to me has been cancelled until further notice. TA. :(

SO, I moved my WIP theme onto the blog, because I keep forgetting to work on it and so I figured this might be an incentive of sorts (also practising at being less of a perfectionist maybe)? Some things got very borked upon moving (which is very odd, but I suppose that’s Tumblr for ya) and I haven’t been bothered fixing it yet, and some things were just not finished when I moved it (like how you can’t click for bigger pictures. That one’s high on my priority list, promise!). ONE THING that does work though, is my baby Javascript that hides all but certain tags on index pages, so you’ll only get rambly ramble tags if you go to the permalink. Useless? Quite possibly, but there you go. Also, colours picked very quickly so that there would be colours at all. Sorry about that, they look pretty awful :P Also only now noticed that my read me’s don’t work on asks, so I guess that’s something you have to implement manually? BLEH.
In other news, because I don’t particularly enjoy the restrictions of Livejournal, and because file hosting sites are equal pains in the butt, I’m going to (eventually) move all the files over to one of our servers (benefits of living with a server-crazed programmer?) and host them myself, also probably do some updates to some of the files because I’ve learned some new tricks since making some of them, and others just need to be renamed and reorganised and stuff. We’ve already set up a WordPress blog on it, but I don’t know when I’ll actually get any use out of it, as I don’t really know when I’ll be able to be particularly productive again.
And finally, the nonsims stuff: I have my first doctor’s appointment on Monday, the first out of three that will be some sort of evaluation of me and my problems, to see what to do and bla, which is very scary because that means that I still don’t know whether they’ll actually help me or not?? I mean, I guess they could still turn around and say “you’re fine”, or, worse yet: “yeah but you’re not bad enough”. I know that’s not likely, because a) I got a referral, and b) the criteria for them helping you is that it has to make it so that you can't live a normal life, and I haven’t been able to do anything worthwhile for about three years, so I’m pretty sure I qualify? BUT I STILL WORRY. And it’s annoying. Stop it.
