How Can I See What Iâve Recently Watched on Instagram?
Instagram is full of endless reels, posts, and videos. You scroll for a while, find something interesting, watch it⌠and then suddenly itâs gone. Maybe you refreshed the app, maybe you lost it in the feed.
And honestly, it can be a little frustrating when you want to find that exact video again but donât know where to start.
The truth is, Instagram doesnât always make this easy.
But there are still a few ways to go back and find what youâve recently interacted with.
Your Activity (The Main Place to Check)
Go to your profile, tap the three lines in the top corner, and open Your Activity.
Here youâll find everything Instagram keeps track of from your interactions: likes, comments, and more.
Itâs basically your personal history of engagement.
Likes & Comments
If you liked a post or commented on it, you can easily find it again inside:
âLikes
âComments
This is often the fastest way to rediscover content youâve seen before.
Watch History (If Available)
Some accounts may have a Watch History section under âYour Activity.â
If you see it:
âOpen it
âAnd you can browse recent reels or videos you interacted with
âUsually within the last 30 days
But not everyone has this feature yet.
The Hard Truth
If you didnât like, save, or interact with a videoâŚInstagram probably wonât show it again.
Thereâs no full watch history for everything you simply viewed.
A Small Tip
If something catches your attention, donât just scroll away.
Like it. Save it. Send it to yourself.
Future you will thank you.
And if you didnât like, save, or comment on a video, you can still try to recover it by copying the reel link and using free online tools to download or save it for later, which can help you keep important content without losing it in the scroll again.
Thatâs it.
Not perfect. Not complete.
But enough to help you not lose the little things you enjoyed in the scroll.
