I'm writing a quick punspider fic before the motivation fades and I am honestly going off the movie. (Gonna watch the show! But have to go through Daredevil first, so it's gonna take a bit)
Anything that people are writing that are making you go "you have no idea what you're talking about" when it comes to punspider fics? I don't care about spoilers, just, things you think are important to note (if you would be so kind!)
They way Frank acts in the movie from the show is starkly different. I think it's because brand new day had this more comical feel rather than the punisher feeling gritty and almost disturbing. Frank isn't just the punisher hes an ex Marine who is constantly battling ptsd from serving and his families death. He's a big tough guy yeah, but hes also very sad. I love that you asked because I think people need to know this when writing him! I liked him in brand new day it was definitely written only as how Peter viewed him so I wouldn't say let that version go completely. It's definitely the smut that throws me off when reading punspider. If hes dirty talking or anything close to that. He is a YEARNER. Hes got big watery eyes and he doesn't say he just does. Id say hes big on consent and keeping things slow. I appreciate the ask🥹🥹🤍🤍
